disappointment
We stayed in this property in 2023 and enjoyed our stay so much that we rebooked for 2024. The house smells musty and clearly has moisture/water issues as evidenced by the smell as well as the failing roof, moss, and slick deck boards. The air conditioners have the same musty, fetid quality as the house. Trash was heaped outside and in the garage (the prop. mgmt. team took care of it promptly after I called). Some of the bed linens were stained and dirty. If this house was cleaned before we got there, the cleaning crew should be taken to task. The garage is a mishmash of junk. The furniture is mostly broken, dirty, and disheveled. It is not surprising it is for sale as the owners have clearly given up on keeping it up to any sort of livable standard. Too bad as the dock and location are superb.

Great view
We loved being able to sit out back and look at the lake. Lots of beds was nice but no screens upstairs to be able to open windows. With no A/C it got hot. There were towels in the washer. Didn’t know what to do with them so we washed, dried and folded them. Would’ve like to have known about the hard water before getting there. There are a lot of spiders and bugs because of the lake. Windows were covered in spiderwebs.

Get away
This property had plenty of room for our family. Although the main portion of the house is not air conditioned, the bedrooms all had room air conditioners. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. The property between the house and the lake isn't big, but it's very nicely shaded and we spent a lot of time out there. The kids loved the fishing. The cleanliness of the property was an issue. Carpets had crumbs and were dirty. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well. The house clearly had not been dusted well as there were cobwebs on the lamps and in the corners. It also took 3 days to get a working wi-fi. We actually figured out the capitalization issue with the wi-fi before we received it from the property manager. We had a good time but felt that a little more attention to the property would have made it better.
