 Atlantic Sand Oasis - Palattuaan takaisin tälle saarelle vuonna 1982 löysin tämän paratiisipaikan, josta päätin ostaa ja kehittää tätä lomahuvilaa. Minua inspiroivat houkuttelevat näkymät majakkaan ja alueen ympäröivän hiekkarannan puhdasta vettä 365 päivää vuodessa. Makea paeta… tähän paratiisiin, voit nauttia kauniista vihreistä takapihoista, joilla on suora pääsy rannalle, täydellisiksi lepäämään riippumatossa tai vain rentoutua palmujen alla valitsemalla juoma kauniilla iltapäivällä katsomassa auringonlasku.

Tässä huvilassa voit nauttia erilaisista aktiviteeteista perheesi tai pariskunnan kanssa, kuten surffausta, vesihiihtoa, snorklausta, sukellusta, uintia, urheilla pelaamista tai jopa syvänmerenkalastusta. Siellä on myös majakka, jossa on akvaario ja museo perheen nautittavaksi.


Miksi omistaja valitsi Arecibo: Valitsimme tämän paikan kehittääksemme huvilaa, koska se sijaitsee kauniilla rannalla aivan saaren pohjoisosassa, jossa voit nauttia kaikenlaisista aktiviteeteista ja samalla olla lähellä kaikkia nähtävyyksiä saari.

Tämän huvilan ainutlaatuiset edut: Kun yövyt Atlantic Sands Oasisissa, tuntuu siltä, että olet paennut suurista kaupungeista, vaikka oletkin vain muutaman minuutin päässä kaikista tärkeistä Puerto Ricon kaupungeista. If you are looking to immerse yourself in culture this is the place to be. There are tons of food trucks, bakeries, fresh markets, and even a wal-mart/outlet mall nearby. The highlights: The layout of the home is perfect for individual groups. There are 3 double bed apartments on the bottom and a larger main level. The view is amazing, you are directly on the beach and the house pool is decent sized. Beds were comfy. Maintenence came a few times during our stay to mow and clean the pool. Needs improvement: I did not recieve check-in information until 8 pm the day prior which caused a lot of panic, communication there after was much better. At no fault to the host, please note the biting bugs are no joke. Bug spray is required at all times. The house is dated and could use some repair, shelves falling in refrigerator and shower. Boogie boards were broken upon arrival, host was aware but no offer to remedy. Water temperature between the house and hot tub are horrible. Faucet heads have to be in the perfect spot to get hot. Hot tub is a lukewarm bath at best, we asked maintenance to turn up the heat and he told us we were crazy, checked the timer, and it never got any hotter. Basketball net is hanging by threads. The spiral, outside, metal staircase between floors is deadly. It mists almost every most so the stairs are always wet. We had lots of banged up ankles from slipping. Overall for the size and location this fit our needs, but the amentitiesdcouldhighlights

Family week and wedding at the beach
We had a family of 9 adults, an infant and a 4 year old staying for 5 nights in January. We had a small wedding (the other family rented a VBRO next to ours) on the beach with a reception held on the roof top of this home. They have 4 tables with seating for 24 plus a large outdoor sectional and a couple chaise chairs all on the roof top! The lighting was not the best but we contacted Javier and Lupe and they strung light all around which made it even more perfect. The 3 suites on the ground level were perfect for 3 of the adult couples to have their own space. Beds were clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice and kept clean, there is plenty of outdoor seating plus pool and sand toys for the kids. Also plenty of towels and cookware. Outdoor showers to clean off the sand from the beach was nice. There are plenty of really good restaurants within minutes (a brand new bar/ restaurant right across the street earned our business- C & P Gastrobar ). Plenty of sight seeing and hiking opportunities nearby. Javier and Lupe were very easy to contact and very helpful. I highly recommend this place if you have a large group get together.

Very nice place for a big family
Very nice place with beautiful pool and pool bar. We enjoyed the property in front of the beach with hughe waves and also the nearby impressive bathing fun at ' La Poza del Obispo' next to the lighthouse.The only minus was the loud noise from the street at the late evening and night in the bedrooms. You had to get used to it.

Great Amenities and Very Spacious
The views of the ocean, the large, open backyard with pool and hot tub were perfect! Access to the beach was amazing. Loved the back covered porch for eating meals and viewing the ocean. The rooftop was nice but we didn’t spend much time up there. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any issues.Some small improvements would make this an “excellent” rating such as better mattresses, consistent water temps in showers and sinks and an easier “key” system (digital locks). We did see previous comments about the street traffic/noise at night so that is another issue that unfortunately cannot be controlled. Lastly, the gardeners came and mowed the lawn (probably there 1.5 hrs) so that disturbed our peace a little bit.

Great Property
The property was amazing! Excellent set up for a larger group. Javier was very attentive and immediately took care of the one minor issue we had. The pool was well-maintained and having immediate access to the uncrowded beach was a huge plus! There were only two issues that we experienced that were negatives. First, the sand fleas were horrible. We took bug spray and used it constantly, but it did not stop the bites at all. We all came home with hundreds of bites and horrible discomfort. We did see the other reviews that mentioned them, but had no idea how bad they were. I don't know a lot about sand fleas, but they were bad enough, it would keep us from returning to the property. The other issue is the isolation of the property from stores, restaurants, shopping. There are a couple of restaurants close by, but there aren't any convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. close by. Don't plan on any delivery services (not a deal breaker, but there are ZERO options available). When the listing says there are options close by, I think there is a huge difference in interpretation of close by :) That being said, Javier was very friendly and helpful. I wish the property was in a better location and the sand fleas weren't so bad. It was a perfect set-up for us and our three adult children to all have our own space but spend the week together. If the sand fleas were able to be exterminated, I would definitely consider staying there again.

Nice Place. Great Views, Needs alot of work.
The whole area is a bit run-down, but this property is nice and the views are gorgeous. The property needs alot, I mean alot, of repairs though that have not been done for quite some time. I rented the entire property (4 Suites) for my familty and each of the suites had issues. The shower in 1 of the suites on the first floor would give hot water for only a few mins if you played with the handle just right then it would either freeze or scald you. The shower on the 2nd floor above leaked water all over the floor through the grout and ceiling and into bedroom below, The manager told us to just put a towel on the floor to soak up the water when we used it, but we had to stop using that shower as it flooded floor in the room below. The stovetop in one of the lower suites does not work at all. The place is equipped with outdoor showers for cleaning off sand/salt from the ocean, but they dont work as all of the valves seized up and all the handles are broken. Pool area has a nice wet-bar area with outdoor speakers, but only one of them works as the connectors to the other speaker are all broken. There is just alot of small maintenance items that just are not being fixed when you add them all up however it threw a bit of a damper on our stay. Our major issue was the Jacuzzi not working. It was one of the amenities we where looking forward to using, a quick inspection revealed it had not been serviced properly in quite some time, I have several photos and videos of the issues.

Beautiful setting
We had a family group of 14 and had plenty of room! The grounds are very well kept, the view is fabulous, and the pool was a hit! We had a couple of issues and Javier was responsive and resolved the issues quickly. The house is on a busy street, so there’s a lot of road noise in case that might be an issue for someone, although we weren’t bothered by it. It is a bit of a drive from the airport and traffic can be very heavy. Overall, great experience.

I stayed at the property with family and friends and had my wedding at the beach behind the property with my reception in the back yard of the venue overlooking the ocean. The property is stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. I can’t get over the location. Instant beach access. The property was lovely and clean. Atlantic Sand Oasis now holds a special place in my heart. All of our other guests absolutely loved it as well. We all plan on returning next year!

Paradise away from home!
Held a family reunion here for a 90-year-old and had a blast! We lived in the pool, played volleyball, enjoyed the ice cold A/C and the beach. Supermarkets were within 20min as well as some great food stands/restaurants. 90yo and 80yo had no problem navigating bottom rooms or patio/pool area. Owner was quick to respond and check-in/out was clear. This review is for the house and not the party coordinator as they are, in essence, separate entities.

Amazing beach and pool
The yard and pool were amazing. the beach is fantastic for playing in the waves. the sand never hardens so walking is good exercise, since it is soft. the house has too many small things that need repair. Some showers would not get hot. There is very limited cups and bowls. It needs more plastic for the pool. There is no dishwasher. The house sits right on the road. The traffic noise is bad. A number of cars play very load music at all times of the day in PR. Not sure why this is legal. Bring ear plugs. Parking was great, with a lockable gate. Despite the problems, If we go back the PR, we would go there for the beach and pool.

Wedding Getaway!
This property is in a great location, close to local cuisine and bars, right on the beach. We had 13 total there for a wedding and it went off fabulously. Owners were responsive when we needed them. Some rooms were quieter than others. Being on the North Shore, if you were a surfer, great, but during our visit the sea was really too rough to swim. Great breezes come to cool things off too! What we didn't like were small things such as coin operated laundry units. And nothing to do with the property, but bring bug spray if you want to hang out near the railings by the ocean at night.

Our group of 12, ages 9 to 65, had an incredible time here. Whether you're sitting on the rooftop, lounging around the pool, or relaxing in the hammocks, the views are amazing! There's plenty of bedrooms, allowing everyone to sleep comfortably. The three hotel style rooms offered a quiet retreat for those who appreciated a peaceful place to rest, while the day's activities continued in the main house and outside. The beds were all very comfortable. The main house and 3 separate bedrooms were consistently a comfortable temperature. Having multiple bathrooms was great for our large group. We especially appreciated the two pool side bathrooms during the day. There's many activities to keep guests busy, including beach volleyball, a basketball hoop, and pool toys. Although we didn't spend much time in the hot tub, it was available and perfectly located on the rooftop. The house is well maintained and clean. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. There were plenty of towels for bathing and several beach towels available. There is a fee for doing laundry. That wasn't a concern, but it's helpful to know in advance. Javier and Lupe were very responsive and helpful anytime I reached out to them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful spot!
This is a beautiful property in an amazing location. We are a family of 4 and it was more house than we needed but the location and back yard with beach access was everything we were looking for. We walked right out back and hung out at the beach almost daily. We always finished our days off in the pool. There is also a really cool beach less than a mile to left. My husband and I walked there once but it was easier to just hop in the car and take the 3 minute drive with our beach chairs and kids. We went there every morning. The kids loved it because it’s like a wave pool at a water park. And it’s enclosed by rocks so you can’t be sucked out to sea. We look forward to coming back!!

Best Vacation Ever
The house was perfect for our family of 17. The house location was perfect. The kids really enjoyed the pool. There were bugs outside but a little bug spray took care of that. There wasn’t any bugs in the house itself. Loved the outdoor cooking area. Beach volleyball was a big hit! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Atlantic Oasis.

Outdoor Paradise
Highly recommend this property. Javier was a very responsive host. The layout was perfect for our group of friends allowing for space to get together and our own private spaces. The interior was adequate but the outside space was perfection!!! The views are gorgeous and there are areas for relaxing and hanging out. We enjoyed sitting watching the ocean, moving to the pool when we got warm then relaxing in the hammocks in the afternoon. In the evenings we played cards (provided) around the pool bar. Having the exterior restrooms by the pool was so convenient. All the things you need to enjoy paradise are right there. Coolers, chairs, umbrellas, floats and beach towels are all provided. The beach towels are actually large and thick. Don’t bother to bring your own. Restaurants and grocery are minutes away. Iguanas and lizards entertained us daily. If you love outdoor living at the beach, this is the place to pick!!!!

Great stay
This property is even better than the photos show. Everyone’s stay was comfortable and we found everything to be clean and I’m working order. Javier is extremely communicative and helpful every step of the way. A+ property and host. We will be back for sure. Things that are outside of the hosts control but should be noted: - the sand flies can be bitey at certain times of the day. Bring bug spray. - the ocean can be rough and current quite strong. There is a beach close by with calmer waters.

Our stay had two purposes 1. A location that can hold 22 people for our family reunion and 2. A way for my parents to return to their home country and easily access the things they remember most from their youth; ocean, nature and amazing food. In planning process was complicated to begin with trying to ensure accomodations for 22 people. The additional hurdle of having an elderly member of the group with health and mobility issues I asked Javier a lot of non traditional questions like how many steps to the beach, how many stairs to the penthouse, where is the nearest hospital. He always responded quickly and in detail. We flew in from San Juan ( apx an hour away). Javier sent a Pin to ensure we found the exact address. When My Droid could not pick up the PIN , I called Javier and he assisted with ensuring we arrived at the right location. The front of the location is very unassuming..with three apts on the lower level and stairs leading to the top. After you pass the gate and walk into the penthouse you are not sure what to expect. The minute you make your way to the back patio you are floored by the view of the ocean and immaculately kept lawn. In addition the place was very clean. Each apartment smelled and looked freshly cleaned. My only two issues were not Javier's problem- the sand flies are everywhere the minute the sun drops and the ocean current was rough on the little ones. But other than that- amazing trip, would rent again!

Much Needed Relaxing Getaway
Atlantic Sands Oasis is the perfect getaway. You cannot beat the outside amenities. The pool/bar area was used almost everyday. There is plenty of tables/chairs outside as well. We loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean and that view is amazing! The ocean was rough so definitely be careful with any little ones. The three studios apartments on the main floor were perfect and none of them had a musty smell as some of the other reviews stated. They all had their own bathroom and mini kitchette. I think most had a playpen in the closest in the event your group has multiple little ones. One of the apartments had a crib too The main house, which is located on the second floor was what we needed. It had enough bath towels, beach towels, extra blankets, and pillows. There are fans in all the bedrooms. The house is on a main road so you can hear the street traffic in the front bedroom, which is the bedroom with the king bed. We lived on a busy street before so it did not bother us at all. Bring some ear plugs or white noise machine and you'll be fine. There is a huge driveway inside a gate so plenty of parking. Javier was responsive to any questions we had and very pleasant to talk to. There is a little supermarket down the street. We just went to Walmart for our groceries, which was 20 mins away. We found the best breakfast spot that is only 1 mile away (Bermudas). The Islote Restaurant was amazing for dinner (prob 1 mile away). Couple restaurants short drive away.
