Are you seeking a place to rest or getaway from the hectic city life? Why not try Sunset Cove - a waterfront lake house with soothing decor, cozy living and dining areas, and comfortable beds. Sunset Cove will be your next restful getaway to the Lake O' the Pines area.

Your experience at the Sunset Cove is enhanced with a hot tub on the back patio, a nice outdoor fire pit in the backyard and an outdoor sectional seating area offered on the uncovered back deck overlooking the beautiful pines and lake, which makes for the perfect spot to relax and observe the beautiful sunsets and wildlife native to our area. You will enjoy a relaxing time in front of a roaring fire in the living room fireplace.

If you like to fish, a public boat ramp is conveniently located less than a mile away. If you like to read, play games, or watch DVDs/videos, there is a large selection of these in Sunset Cove.

This lake house is equipped with everything you need. So why not plan your trip today? Escape to Sunset Cove and rest for awhile.

Location & Sleeping Arrangement

Sunset Cove sits on half an acre of moderately wooded land and is located in the beautiful Crystal Cove area on the south side of Lake O’ the Pines. This lake house is not secluded, however it is laid out to allow a lot of privacy. Sunset Cove has a driveway from the street to the rear of the lakehouse. There is also a parking space along the street which will accommodate most boats/trailers.

This location is 25 minutes from historic Jefferson for antiques, museums, boat rides, train rides, romantic horse drawn carriages, and wonderful restaurants. Casinos and entertainment are about an hour away in Shreveport, LA.

The 2,000 sq ft lake house offers 2 King bedrooms with en suite (one on upper level, one on lower level), 1 Double Queen bedroom (on upper level) and 3 total baths with sleeping for up to 8 guests. There is also a 350 sq ft of deck space.

Awesome getaway!!!

We had such a great time at this home! Very spacious and soon as we walked in the door it smelled and looked so clean!!! Excellent hosts very helpful and replied fast to any questions! We’re already planning another family trip to this house! It was perfect! And all the beds were extremely comfy and the pillows! Just say enough good things about this place! Beautiful views!! The photos do not do it justice! 5 STARS! Not a single complaint!

Family Reunion

The house was great for our stay. My family (my husband, myself, 5 YO and 3 YO) stayed upstairs with plenty of room and my in-laws stayed in the downstairs room. It’s an older home updated but we were comfortable. Everything worked. It was easy to get in and out and the view is beautiful! If we’re ever back in the area, we would stay here again.

I couldn’t rate this highly enough. The tranquility is amazing. Low traffic in the area, both on the water and the road. We were glad the weather cooperated on the final evening to give us a clear view of the sunset over the water.

Amazing property with everything and then some.

This home was one of the best equipped we have ever stayed at. They have it all far exceeding expectations. The communication is fast, easy. Allot of thought has to went into all the little things. If your going to the Pines this is your place. We were in town for bass tournament. The neighbor had an extension cord ready for us and urged us to use it for which we did. A very kind helpful man.

The property has to have one of the best views of Lake O' the Pines! The house was clean and well laid out and probably the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!

Lovely stay on the lake

We had a great stay. The house was just as described. The owner said there would be no coffee or other spices and there was a TON of coffee and spices. The house is not near any town, so stock up on what you need on the way in. The view of the lake could not have been better.

It rained every day but didn’t mind because the view was beautiful. House was very clean, and well organized. Equipped with all we needed. We loved it! Only thing that I would recommend to owners is to turn jets on and clean hot tub before guests arrive. It looked clean till we turned it on and it spit out a lot of nasty stuff.

Spectacular Views of the Lake

I could just sit there for weeks and stare at the Lake from the living area. House is so well appointed. This is probably the most well stocked kitchen of any VRBO we have ever stayed at. We love to cook and this did not disappoint. Such an easy process for check in and out. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

Would Stay Again

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. We are a mellow bunch and sitting outside in the chairs around the fire while the sun went down was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Open concept living room area was the perfect hang out. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Fantastic family lake house!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Met up with several other family members, 6 of us in total. It was nice having 3 separate bathrooms to accommodate everyone and the family area is open and beautiful and stayed cool and comfortable even during the 104 temps that weekend. We all kayak & paddle board and had so much fun being able to launch right there from the backyard. We will definitely book here again for another get-together!!

Family vacation

Our family decided at the last minute to take a few days off and head to the lake. The checkin process was very easy, the house was extremely clean and well cared for. We loved having lake access and the incredible views. Everything we needed was in the home or stated in the owner’s description to take with us. This was helpful when planning our stay. We have already recommended this property to others and would love to return again.
