The only good thing about this hotel was that it is in a very beautiful location. It's on a hill, overlooking some amazing countryside.
Unfortunately, it is terribly run. We didn't have hot water in our room for the duration of the stay - despite their best efforts. The kitchen was an utter shambles - it took them close to 3 hours to serve our lunch order, and more than two hours to get us our dinner order. There were serious maintenance issues in the room - the balcony door didn't work, many lights were broken. There was a safety light in the room that did work, but we couldn't turn it off and it was so bright that it attracted pretty much all of the insects in the area, and since the balcony door was broken we struggle to keep them out. The staff claimed that was our fault and spectacularly failed to provide us with insect spay. It was a bit of a nightmare.
I should note also that this is a dry hotel (no alcohol), and pork products are not served. Clearly, we were not part of their target market - which seems to be middle eastern men who like to shoot and kill the animals, rather than just take pictures. Unsurprisingly, we were the only guests.
