Meidän huoneisto sijaitsee viheriö Turtle Bay Golf Course. Tämä Turtle Bayn alue on arvostettu ja turvallinen! Turtle Bay is great...this property needs some work
Turtle Bay is a great location to access the beauty and joy of the North shore! I used to live on the North Shore, so I'm familiar with the wear and tear that takes place in a humid/island setting--totally normal. This property had some maintenance issues, the microwave doesn't work at all, the bed creaks every single time you move, and while it's as clean as you can expect on the North Shore, it was disappointing that some of these basic things have not been attended to (in apparently a long time--based on other reviews).

Beautiful Stay!
Unsure how this had negative reviews! Such a stunning property and home. Directions made it easy to find. A quick walk to the resort. We absolutely loved our stay. Would come back again. Microwave doesn’t work or really open if that is something you are hoping to use … we didn’t use but that would be the only “negative” .

DO NOT STAY HEREThe place was filthy and dangerousPower kept tripping & turning off lights would also flicker The fridge /freezer was covered in mould (sever health risk)Fridge had left over food from previous renters. No idea how old it was. Rental stated that the accommodation sleeps 4. However the sofa bed tiny and not a “bed” was like a park bench and my two little boys barely fit on there. No way an adult would fit. It was also dirty. bed linen was dirty and smelled. Pillows were stained. The bed had sand and hair in the sheets. Aircon in the bedroom was leaking water all over the power chord. washing machine and dryer did not work. There was mould and dirt all around the washer/dryer. The fire detectors/ smoke alarms had been removed from all rooms. (As far as I’m aware, smoke alarms are required by law)I tried contacted the host initially as we had trouble entering the rental. I also tried to call the host 5 times. Each time went through to voice mail. I finally got a hold of the host via text message, and after I voiced my concerns partially with the mould and power issues she replied with “I should have paid a lot more money” “I expected 5 star on a budget” to my response I just wanted a safe clean place to stay. She then replied with “well you should have done more research” and claims that her past guests loved staying there. Not according to the reviews. We had to leave and are now out of pocket 3000. I have photo proof of all.

Price realistic to stay. Washer/dryer out of order.
Realistically, great for the price for the location and stay, but washer dryer out of order and not previously communicated. Overall, if it wasn't for a little deception, I would have given a 5. We are realistic about location, price, and cleanliness when it comes to a Hawai'i stay, because we're local expats. I can overlook the broken screen, baby gecko's hunting with the spiders, crumbs under the couch, and whatnot. I can sterilize and clean with the community. I do have a problem with the washer and dryer being featured in the listing but not actually being functioning. I am glad we brought and used our own sheets and towels. For the off peak pricing, and I would say it was still worth it as long as you lower your expectations and standards. It will be a little basic, old, and tacky (literally tacks holding up some stuff), but again, for the price and location, the value exists. Just think of it as visiting your stoner college buddies house for a weekend.

3 night stay
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the condo considering how it was described and pictured in the advertisement. The location of the unit was great and we felt safe in the area, however, the condo itself hasn’t been maintained and didn’t meet our expectations. There were multiple coachroaches found dead in the apartment and a roach ran over my feet when washing dishes. The bathroom cupboards were in disarray with only 1 roll of toilet paper left in the cupboard that had clearly been water damaged. Other cupboards had random items in them too. The washing machine smelt mouldy and we were not prepared to use it to wash our clothes. The pillow for the couch had no pillow cases and were flat. The main bed was hard too. When we went to use a towel from the bathroom shelf, plaster dust fell from the towel onto the floor. We were also asked to strip beds and put towels and sheets into the washer before leaving. This wouldn’t have been a problem if it was evident that time had been spent cleaning the apartment prior to our arrival. We were asked to remove shoes before entering the condo which we did but then noticed all the dust in our feet. Internet wasn’t plugged in when we arrived and we had continuous trouble gaining access to live TV. The condo was cheaper than other condos in the area however we would still have expected a little more for what we received.

ATTENTION! PROBLÈME MAJEUR DE SALUBRITÉ.
Expérience très éprouvante en lien avec la location de ce condo. Dès notre arrivée, forte odeur d'humidité/moisissure et de poussière. Nous constatons rapidement que les lieux n'ont pas été bien entretenus depuis longtemps. Les comptoirs, divans, électroménagers, murs, divans sont salles ou tâchés. L'endroit a besoin d'un sérieux nettoyage. Les deux airs climatisés coulent, depuis visiblement longtemps. Des insectes sortent des armoires. L'eau sort de sous les lattes du plancher de la chambre. Nous tentons de communiquer avec la propriétaire afin de l'informer de l'état des lieux. Celle-ci banalise la problématique, mentionne qu'elle est à l'extérieur du pays et qu'elle tentera d'envoyer quelqu'un. Personne ne vient. Aucune nouvelle. Nous sommes forcés de nous relocaliser en urgence. Après avoir tenté de joindre VRBO pour obtenir un soutien de leur part, la compagnie mentionne ne pas être en mesure de rien faire pour nous, malgré que nous leur ayons soumis plusieurs preuves photos-vidéos et captures d'écrant. Il protège la confidentialité de la propriétaire. Nous sommes encore en démarche afin de tenter d'obtenir une compensation à ce jour.

Quiet area, nice condo
Owners very friendly, nice condo. Back patio has pleasant view of trees and part of the golf course. I saw some chickens wandering on the golf course, some other pretty birds came by and were feeding in the grass. Very close to the beach, just a few minutes drive.

Fraudulent listing! Not even close to “deluxe, spacious and clean.” Disgusting. Stay far away!
“Newly remodeled, perfect condition condo” is so laughable! “Deluxe, Spacious, Clean”— Nope! Seriously, DO NOT stay here! The description of this place is not accurate! It was truly the WORST we’ve ever seen and absolutely disgusting. I’m so shocked that the owners would think this place is okay! We’ve stayed at Turtlebay condos many times and have always had such a wonderful experience. Added two nights here to extend our stay. I quickly booked after seeing “8.0 Very Good” and should have read recent reviews, because oh how accurate they were! Filthy. Bugs all over (especially by sink-no garbage disposal), spiders, and ants all over the unit, even crawling on me in bed! Cobwebs, dust and debris everywhere, particularly on and around furniture. Hair and white flakes in sheets. Long black hair in the shower, clump by the toilet and on bathroom walls. No “dresser” but a storage box with bins. AC leaking water with large pool underneath with water damaged baseboards. Spider city around the ac and very loud right by your face at night. Dryer vent blows right into unit and stinks. Flat and clumpy pillows, does not sleep 4 maybe two small kids on a dirty and stained couch. Loud, can hear all the cars. Host was to send cleaners, but they never came. Offered only to refund cleaning fee if I promised to not write a negative review. What a joke. This condo needs an extensive deep clean and major effort to have it be what they list it as! I have pics and videos of proof I sent to VRBO.

House needed a thorough deep cleaning Bath towels worn out and thin Shower curtain had mold on it - both outer and inner curtain No washcloths for kitchen or bath No kitchen towels. Only paper towels One y’all drinking glass Silverware drink had oil spilled all over it Air conditioner in bedroom had condensation leaks on the floor and under the bed Air conditioner goes in and off consistently. Never cools down sufficiently Baseboards by air conditioner were soaked so they were rotting No screen door in living room patio doors so couldn’t enjoy the breeze Couch was stained A drawer and cabinet in the kitchen just had stuff thrown in there Bathroom cabinet under the sink was also a mess The condo had many complaints on their reviews. Wish we would have read them!

There was hair all over the bed sheets and we had to change them. Spare sheets were old and had holes in them. Surfaces in the kitchen were dirty and gross. Standing was was on the bathroom floor. Giant red ants and spiders were all over the place. Walls in bedroom had stains on them. Condo needs to be fumigated and then painted. Felt like the place had never had a deep cleaning and was overall gross.

SCAM ALERT - I never leave reviews but this rental was awful. Where do I even begin. 1. It is FILTHY it needs a deep clean. Nothing looks like it has been touched in ages. There aren’t even real doors on most of the closets just curtains. The bathroom door is completely broken. It’s so DIRTY. I can not stress enough how gross it was. 2. The bugs! There are HUGE ants, spiders, and other bugs I don’t even know the name of. Terrifying. I had to actually buy bug spray because I was getting eaten up by the mosquitos at night in the bedroom. There is spider webs in the shower!!! 3. THE WINDOWS DO NOT CLOSE. AND the back door barely locks. While it’s a nice area it still feels extremely unsafe, because of this you can hear all the traffic on the street all night long and the birds! 4. The AC is a window unit and it makes the house super warm and humid. 5. The location is over half a mile to turtles bay beach. It’s not as close as advertised, takes over a 15 minute walk to the closest beach. 6. The towels smelled like sour mildew like they had not been washed. The washer and dryer smelled terrible. The cabinets are filled with random items just shoved in random places. Like FILLED TO THE BRIM, with misc. junk. 7. Overall this was shocking!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. Learn from us and read the reviews before you book.

Great location and base to visit north shore sights
We had a few issues with the parking gate code and electrics but the owner was easily contactable and resolved issue quickly. Accommodation is ok, facilities are average, the sofa bed has a big dip on one side for example but being near the beach counterbalances these quirks. Overall it's reasonable for the area.

It was difficult to get information about using the property. We finally had to call to make contact. The property was filthy, moldy, and insect-infested. The "sofa bed," which wasn't really a sofa bed, was stained and wet; the lamps were of poorest quality and broken. The location was NOT ideal, being adjacent to the intersection of Kamehameha hwy and the main entrance to the Turtle Bay Resort: very noisy. The air conditioning units were noisy and inefficient. What a disappointment! We will NEVER stay at this condo again!

NOISY AND UNCONORTABLE PLACE TO STAY!
The sofa in the living room is dirty and uncomfortable. the whole unit needs to be cleaned thoroughly. There is noise, because is close to the main Streets. You get charged $100 if you lose your parking permit. you feel as if you are being watched. I couldn't wait to leave the place. The only comfort was the bed.

Perfect condo in North Shore
Wonderful condo with great amenities and location. Easy check in and good communication with property manager. Enjoyed swimming at Keiki Beach and hiking to Kahuku Point. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
