Kona Alii -kompleksi sijaitsee yhdessä parhaista keskusta-alueista Alii-asemalla, suoraan kadun toisella puolella vesireunasta. Valtameri on kirjaimellisesti kotiovellesi. Se on tilava jopa 4 vieraalle, kun taas kuningatar Murphy-vuode ja 2 tilavaa kylpyhuonetta tarjoavat mukavuutta kaikille vieraille. Makuuhuoneessa on oma kylpyhuone ja sänky on king-size-kokoinen. Keittiössä on kaikki hyppysissäsi ja se on avoin upealle huoneilmalle. Allas on koskematon ja ylläpidetään erinomaisesti. On uima-altaan lähellä olevia grillipaikkoja avuksesi. Lanai tarjoaa jäähdytyskauppaa tuulet ja upea auringonlaskuja. Kävelymatkan päässä on lukuisia ravintoloita, kauppoja ja juhlava yöelämä. On rentouttavaa istua ja siemailla kupillinen kahvia suosikkikahvilamme meressä, kuunnella elävää musiikkia, kun ihmiset katsovat. Valkoiset hiekkarannat, kuten Lunapule ja King Kamehameha, ovat myös kävelyetäisyydellä. Kokeile vuokrata melalauta tai kajakki King Kamin rannalta. Ruokakaupat ovat muutaman mailin päässä, mutta älä huoli, jos unohdat jotain, lähistöllä on lähikauppoja. Great View of the Ocean and Sunsets
Awesome view and great location to restaurant and shops. Never got tired of hearing the waves reach shore. First thought the afternoon sun would make the condo uncomfortable for sleeping but cooled off nicely after sunset making sleeping very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. You do have to be patient for the shower to get hot.

The location of this unit on the 5 th floor right across the street from the ocean is excellent. The balcony is great where you can sit and listen to the waves crash on the rocks. The unit itself is dated. The wooden balcony chair arms kept falling off. The end of the couch had a big tear in the be material.. Aside from that, I would stay there again for the location and balcony alone.

Excellent - location, lanai, bed, 2 bath, kitchen, towels, water gear, beach chairs, umbrella, additional table fans, covered parking, washer, dryer etc. only negative is No air conditioner, leaving lanai door open at night felt nice and cool.but the waves get loud at night

Beautiful condo and excellent location
Everything about this condo is just great. The place is very clean. We practically lived only in the living room where you can hear the ocean. The bedroom had become our storage. When we come next time, this will be my first choice to stay. The restaurants and groceries are nearby and in walking distance.

Great Place...perfect location!
FIrst let me say the condo is exactly as presented in photos. We never slept in the bedroom. Why, because the murphy bed was not only comfortable but practically on the ocean. The sounds were lovely and views amazing. Be sure to double check for all your paperwork telling you how to get in, etc. We didn't and it took an hour for us to bring up the info...yes, we are NOT the most tech savvy couple! Owner got back to us very quickly...bottom line is we would definitely come back to condo! The lanai was where we "lived" when in the condo! +++did not deal with a property manager so only gave one star, had to put in something to post review+++

Awesome views of the ocean. Centrally located near many restaurants and small shops. Excellent security. Nice having two bathrooms. Bedroom is very small, luckily could put suitcases in living room. Very clean.

Location and View
It’s all about the location and view. Walkable to everything downtown Kailua-Kona has to offer (and I am disabled). The view was amazing and the condo clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only reason for the four star rating and not five is the lack of air and I’m not just talking about A/C. We can live without A/C but you need some trade winds. There was hardly a breeze blowing through which made it very stuffy and hot even with the windows open and all the fans blowing.

Great location, spacious condo
The condo was in a great location, convenient to downtown Kona... shops restaurants etc. The place was clean, spacious, and came with everything we needed for the beach. The lanai was wonderful and had a wonderful view of the beach. The owners were easy to reach and took care of issues quickly. The only issues we had were: No AC, even with multiple fans it was muggy and warm. Water took awhile to heat up. The bedroom window opens to a walkway that is lit up during the night, I just hung a sheet up. It can be loud since it is on Ali'i drive. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Best spot to see fireworks
This location was even better than I expected. We came for the 4th to see the parade and fireworks. The parade was on Alii dr and couldn't have been any better spot to view. The fireworks are in the bay straight out front and wow what a nice displsy. We will be back.

Great location, great views
Good value for the price - comfortable, clean, spacious. The balcony is ample with wonderful views. There is a quality firm Murphy bed in the large family room and we decided to sleep on that to enjoy the breeze and crashing waves. Located close to everything but just outside the bustle of Kona center. Would certainly stay here again.

Fifth Time's the Charm
This was our fifth stay at Karen & Ed's amazing condo. Not much left to say about how much we love it apart from the new washer and dryer were amazing. And the new carpet was also great. Needless to say, we were happy the best couch in the world was still there.

The location of Ed & Karen's condo is great. It allowed close and easy access to so many great restaurants. We appreciated the simple but efficient security measures of the condo. The lanai was a wonderful place to stay and read our books. Enjoy!

Sunsets, whales and dolphins
This condo is terrific and right across the street from the water. We enjoyed the lanai. People watching is always fun! The sunsets were amazing. We saw dolphins right in the bay. The condo itself was very comfortable, great having two bathrooms, lots of extras in the place, loved the decorations. Nice to have a parking spot, easy walking to lots of restaurants. This was a great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary!

10 days of doing nothing.
The property is across the street from ocean Sitting on lani, all you see is water. And hear the waves. Very peaceful. We ate out lots, as there are plenty of excellent restaurants close by. Also a Thai massage facitlity on the premises. I went 4 times. Great holiday

Excellent location. Condo had everything we needed. Gorgeous view of ocean, bay, sunset. Ed and Karen were great about communicating with us. They left us some yummy snacks and coffee. So kind of them. Would recommend their condo to others.
