Kahaluu Bay Villas on täydellinen paikka ihmisille, jotka saapuvat Havaijiin nauttimaan valtamerestä. Snorkkeli monenlaisten kalojen, kilpikonnien ja jopa delfiinien kanssa Kahaluun rannalla. Tai rekisteröidy oppituntiin ja kokeile surffata. Kahaluulla on kaikki. Rannalla on paljon hiekkaa linnojen, WC-tilojen, grillipaikan ja käyttöoikeusosastojen rakentamiseksi. Loved it
This was a great place and it accomplished the 4 of us well. We couldn’t snorkel or do as much as we wanted due to high surf but the pool and balcony helped make our stay enjoyable anyway! Great location and lots of supplies. Loved having AC option. Will keep this on our stay place list

Great visit!
The condo is lovely! Very spacious and beautifully decorated; located near the beach and within a couple of miles from restaurants and shopping. Aside from an issue with the bedsheets in the King bedroom, the condo was very clean. There are utensils and spices for cooking, but no sugar for coffee. We attended a luau at the nearby Royal Kona, a tour of the seahorse farm, as well as a stained glass class - all recommended. I would book this property again.

Great Location, Great Amenities, Great Hosts
This was a fantastic condo! The hosts were super communicative and helpful. The condo was very well appointed and had everything we needed - boogie boards, snorkel gear, all the kitchen equipment, and recommendations. We ate in for most of our stay and couldn't have been happier with the kitchen supplies. Having the snorkel beach nearby was awesome, and the location just south of Kona was perfect to get out of the busy area but close to activities. We ventured to the beaches north of us and snorkeled with Captain Cook in K bay, and visited the cultural national monument. We would 100% stay at this condo again on our next trip. Great for families!

Fantastic stay!
The stay was fantastic. Communication regarding check-in and access was fantastic. The place has everything you need. Love that there’s a dedicated, covered parking spot. The building was very quiet and the view of the water was terrific. AC in the bedrooms was key for a comfortable night’s sleep. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway condo
We loved the condo-it was nicely appointed in the kitchen and elsewhere. It was very spacious with attractive furniture and views. Everything was clearly marked. Liked that the lights had dimmers. So many vacation rentals have glaring bright lights. We would return to the Kahulu'u Bay Villas again!

Nice condo, great view. Landscaping and cleaning starts early, be prepared for 7am rooster, 8am hallway vacuuming and an hour or two of leaf blowing. Feeding fertilizer cats also attracted a dozen mongoose to the property. Cameras are throughout the property, although it’s not posted. Constantly chastised for having sand on our beach chairs, etc. we were afraid to use the pool and opted for day trips to stay away from the property and the old biddies. We didn’t appreciate having to wash towels and bed sheets even though we paid a large cleaning fee.

Clean, well appointed, excellent managment, and steps away from world class snorkeling.
Great stay, would recommend. Well managed and maintained. AC units are strong performers. If you are a snorkeler, the beach steps away is highly rated and for good reason. Also surfing rentals and lessons from same beach. Area does have some low income housing and a few homeless hang on the beach in the early hours. We had some valuables taken from the beach when it was early and not many people around. But overall great location for what we wanted and very good apartment/condo- excellent I would say. Swim with the Mantas at night, best nature experience of my life!

Great great location
2 couples renting this unit. The space exceeded our expectations. The pictures did not justify how large the unit actually was. Very clean and the surrounding grounds and pool were spotless. Loved the covered parking-added bonus. Especially in the heat. This is a smaller complex, having only 15 units which made for a very relaxing quiet location. And just being set slightly back off Ali’i drive made for no real traffic noise. We often had the pool to ourselves as well. The kitchen appears to have fairly new appliances and was well appointed with a good selection of cookware and in great condition. The location was perfect. A 5 min(at most) from Kahalu’u beach park. The most amazing snorkel beach. It was so awesome to have some close access and unsure how many times we went there. The KTA grocery store and a Longs drugstore also very close ,5 min drive. Needed to reach out to management group on 2 minor questions and received very prompt responses. Would highly recommend staying here

Beach Condo Paradise!
Comfortably fit our entire family. Every detail thought through...bars of soap, shampoo, beach towels, and beach gear! 3 minute walk to an amazing snorkle spot. Full size washer/dryer was amazing! Very well stocked kitchen with blenders, pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker. Simply amazing!

Beyond Expectations
The location directly across from Kahaluu Beach was the draw. The ocean view made the stay memorable. The spacious condo exceeded expectations making for a very pleasant stay with the adults, tweens and kids alike.

Great location
Great condo in an amazing location. Steps to the beach with snorkeling. Complex is very clean, well maintained, and quiet. The A/C worked extremely well even with the heat and humidity outside. We did have issues with ants that took a couple of days to resolve. The cleaning team was helpful with that. Also found two roaches- one dead and one alive. There was mold in one of the showers. Weird thing about this particular condo is that the doors are not solid- like plantation shutters so if you’re looking for privacy and quiet from the rest of your group, this might not be a good fit. We took two young adults with us that wanted to stay up most of the night watching tv. There was no way to block the light and sound. Lastly, the bedroom windows open into the condo complex hallway so keeping them open wasn’t really a possibility.

The property is much larger than the pictures suggest. The lr/dr area is huge. It is very nicely appointed with lots of nice touches for a traveler. For example, there were lots of towels and tons of beach towels. Also the pantry had essentials such as s&p, olive oil, and even Old Bay! Also plenty of tp and paper towels. The storage locker is loaded with beach chairs, pool noodles, boogie boards, etc. We didn't use the snorkel gear as we brought our own. The AC units worked well and all of the appliances are newish and higher end. The grounds and pool area are very nice and practically empty. We used the grill once and it is a very nice Weber in great condition. Parking is a piece of cake. The location is great but it is on the south side of Kona so many restaurants and shopping are about a 15 minute drive. There is a shopping center with a grocery, drug store and some restaurants quite close. Kahalu'u park is nice and literally a 3 minute walk. A word of caution to those who are looking for beautiful white sand beaches. They are here but you have to work a little. We went to Kua Bay twice and it's the nicest beach I've ever been to but about a 30 minute drive, a little north of the airport. Most of the shoreline in Kona is black lava. Beautiful but not great for beaching. Overall our trip to the Big Island was fantastic, due in no small part to this wonderful property. Highly recommended!

Great homebase. Accessibility Challenges
This is a two part review. The first part is from an overall perspective. The second is from a wheelchair accessiblity perspective. Overall, this property is a fantastic vacation homebase. The listing's pictures don't actually do it justice. It was beautiful.The unit is impeccable in terms of cleanliness, layout and availability of everything you need from a vacation home. The kitchen is full stocked, the unit's locker has everything for the beach and plenty of space for a family of 4. We loved the complex's pool too. The location is about 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona's downtown. Walking isn't really an option, but a quick drive in our rental car. Highly recommend this place. Wheelchair Accessibility: I live life in a wheelchair and choose this place after it came up in the search with the "Wheelchair Accessible" option turned on in the filter and interactice with the property management company. In terms of access, this place is wheelchair accessible. There's an elevator and all the doors were wide enough for me. However, the bathrooms are NOT handicap friendly. The toilet rooms have no hand holds and the bathing options (showers and bath tubs) were not easy to use. There are no hand holds and no bath or shower seat is available. In hindsight, I would have rented a seat for the bath tub. I'm fortunate to have some mobility and made it work but there were several nights where I let my time in the pool suffice since the bathrooms were challenging. These are easy fixes to make the unit more accessible for folks like me. Overall, this is a great place and a much more afforable option than a hotel on the island.

Paradise in Kona
We loved our stay in Kona! The condo was well appointed with everything you would need to enjoy the beach or the the other sights of the island. The beds were very comfortable. The condo is large with plenty of room to spread out. It overlooks the pool and the you get a nice view of the beach. There are plenty of towels for the beach, beach chairs and boogie boards in the locker, snorkel equipment and more. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. I loved that there were things needed to get you started with cooking like olive oil, spices, condiments in the fridge, and things like foil and sandwich bags. The host was easy to get a hold of if needed for questions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat as it was the perfect home away from home!!
