Nice staff, not so nice cockroaches.
The man at the front desk was nice, no problem with the staff whatsoever. However there seemed to be bed bug stains on some of the sheets and there was cockroaches in the sink.

I called to ensure the hottub was working 2 days before check in. They said it was. When arrived they said the huttub wouldn't be in serve until may. Then when I asked for a refund they would give me one. I stay at comfort inn instead

It was labeled as Rodeway Inn but the pictures looked the same. It’s an older establishment but somewhat remodeled. The guy up front wasn’t very friendly and the room was clean but had dust bunnies with streaks on the mirror. I’m glad I only booked one night.

It could have been a cute little place. It was so dirty. We didn’t dare shower, or even get into bed. We were so tired we slept fully clothed on top of the beds. I’ve used truck stops cleaner than this place.

Disappointing and Frustrating.
I booked this hotel because the rating was good and the cost was cheap. I can only imagine the ratings were grading on a massive curve because of the cheap cost. This was a frustrating stay for a number of reasons: First, they advertised as pet-friendly but had no information about a pet fee in the listing. Upon arrival, the pet fee was 60% addition to the cost of the room. This went from being a discount stay to a higher-than-average cost. Second, the bathtub drain was terribly slow. Within minutes the tub was inches deep in standing water. I could've asked to switch but with 3 kids and a dog, it would've been a lot of work. The bathroom had only two towels. When I asked for 2 more "large" towels, they gave me towels that were 16" by 24". Those are large they said. Third, the breakfast is served out of the small reception room. The only options to sit and eat are either at an unsheltered picnic table outside, or to carry the food back to eat in the room sitting on the beds. The positives: the room was clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The cost without the pet fee was very low. If you are looking for a cheap, no-frills stay, this isn't a bad place. It just did come close to meeting the expectations created by their promises.

So, it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, it was just what we needed for a quick overnight stop in Kanab! Room was comfortable, location was great. And did I mention it was cheap?
