The room was comfortable. The hotel is very close to Omicho Market, the best market I went to in Japan. The hotel has a kitchen open to the public, where you can cook or eat what you bought. To have in mind, we were charged a small local tax which was not included in the Expedia price. They don't provide pyjamas, like the rest of the hotels we went to.

Kind of an hybrid between an hostel and a hotel. Shared area with affordable rooms there are also dorms. Probably one of the places I enjoyed staying at the most of my Japanese journey so far. The only thing I would improve is the noise isolation. I could hear what people we saying in other rooms.

Nice stay in Kanazawa!
We booked a private room with 3 beds and private bathroom. It was surprisingly comfy and quiet. Check-in was a breeze and we felt very welcomed by the staff. Best rates in town for the location! The only things that bothered us was the high humidity in the room. Even with the fan on all day and all night, we had condensation in the windows and water pooling. Surfaces were getting dusty pretty quickly. This should be addressed or mold will become an issue.

Great service and nice atmosphere
We loved the hotel. The room was nice and big. Great vibe and atmosphere and lovely staff. Conveniently located next to the fish market and the bus loop stop. They have coin laundry machine and a nice and vibrant bar downstairs. The only downside was the relative small shower.

Excellent location walkable from the train station and only a couple blocks from both the Omicho market and the grounds of Kanazawa Castle. An excellent home base for this town’s top sights.

Hip place near Omicho
Great trendy place near Omicho market. Bus stop just one block away goes directly to kanazawa station. Very friendly front desk managed but a group of good looking japanese youth :)

Be warned, if you are use to USA hotels and services this hotel my be a shock. It is similar to a Japanese business hotel, very small rooms, no thrills, and limited service. With that said, the hotel staff are great, hotel is newly decorated, is clean, and is in a good location. Beds, bunks in our room, were fine. Our room had a bathroom that my 6 foot frame barely fit sitting on the toilet. They do have other bathrooms and showers in the common area on the floor. They do provide a mobile phone, hotspot. We had our own, did not use theirs. Note, the city passed a new tax that is about 2.00 USA$ per person per night.
