The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was exemplary, especially during the challenging snowstorm that closed everything down and prevented many of their staff from coming in. They provided food and services as best they could and with a smile.

A very rough diamond
This is a botique type hotel. It is very old and has some interesting quirks that make it fun. It was remolded in the past, maybe 10 or 15 years ago and has not been maintained well. I expect a better facility from Hilton, lots of marked up walls, chopped paint, tear on the couch in our room, etc. Lots of brass trim on the furniture in out room that is more green than gold, looked bad. They seemed understaffed as well. The staff was nice but had way too much to do. Our room was as clean as it could be given the condition of the carpet and furniture, bed was vrry comfortable.

Not my favorite
Beautiful hotel lobby but it cold waiting for your valet and it took forever for them to find my truck and pull it up. The room is really smal with the restroom having a barn door right inside the bedroom which leaves little privacy. The hotel does have a wonderful history to it and with a Speak easy lounge but it’s not really hidden.
