Great location and very clean
This was a great place for us. Loved the location near the beach and things to do in Poipu. Loved the large patio and the ocean views. The place was very large and comfortable and so clean. Would love to come back again someday!

Great Location
Great location as you are about half way between the north and south side of the island. Kitchen could be upgraded otherwise facilities were great. Better cooking utensil, pots and pans would also be helpful. Had an issue with the washer and dryer but the owner was very responsive and even offered to help with our laundry. She also gave us a gift card for the inconvenience it caused. Overall we had a great stay.

Amazing location with gorgeous views
This place was incredible for our holiday stay. We loved the gorgeous views, had all the amenities we needed and were so close to the beach and groceries! It was the perfect get away! Only suggestion would be for the fans throughout the location to be updated so that they can provide a bit more airflow, but other than that we had an incredible time and would recommend this stay to everyone!!

Out dated in fair location
Washer, dryer and screen door all broken. Property manager was already made aware and came by with repair man and refused the pay the repair man so nothing was fixed. I stayed 6 days and no repair. Property manager sent me paperwork just days before making me agree to any and all broken items in unite will not be fixed. A blanket cover not telling me what was broken. If I knew this sooner I would have canceled. They waited until I payed the whole amount first and it was too late to find another place. No air conditioning, no spa and very cold shaded pool. Corner unite next to heavy loud traffic on main highway. Very out dated unite and nothing matches. For 6 days and 2 people they only left us 1/2 roll of paper towels and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, I requested more and was told to buy my own supplies. Bugs in bathroom. I would not stay here again. Sewage plant close bye burning trash all day long. It smells toxic. The price is high for what you get.

We arrived at 203 Wailua Bay View knowing this property and loving it! We had a few things that were out of the norm for what we were used to but after contacting Candace, everything was fixed and she was AMAZING! We look forward to coming back to Kauai again and this property soon!

Great Location
Our host was very attentive and prompt responding. We asked for early check-in and she made it happen. We loved the “hidden “ beach right next to the condo. Beautiful !! At close proximity is the Wailua River where we also walked for a kayak tour. Having Lava Lava Restaurant, and other shops and restaurants at a walking distance, was a plus. The pool area is small, but very well maintained. The condo is nicely equipped with beach chairs, buggy boards, ice chest, umbrellas, and beach towels. Kitchen is also equipped with anything needed for making your meals, along with basic cooking condiments. The bed was very comfortable and has AC in bedroom . Though, no AC in the living room, which was a bit tough for those sleeping on sofa bed. Overall, location was perfect for us .

Kauai Stay
Candace was always very pleasant to speak to and quick to respond. Unit was nice with great view from balcony. Only adjustment was not having full A/C - there is unit in the bedroom and a fan in the living area; however, we did fine. Convenient location to airport and a nice cafe across the street to eat at; plus a gas station close by.

Clean Condo- Beautiful View
We liked that this condo was super close to everything we wanted to do on our trip. The condo was clean- and the bed was super comfy! The temperature inside was comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues with the property. The view of the beach was great from the balcony, we enjoyed watching people wind surf out the window. Main reason for choosing this condo was its central location to the activities we had planned for the trip. There are also lots of yummy restaurants within walking distance.

Located in Kapaa, it is a central location with short travels to anything you want to do. Private balcony overlooks the beach and ocean. Beautiful pool area. Recommend this location/ unit for your enjoyment.

Issues with Bay View #203
The location and view were wonderful; however, the condo had several issues that made our stay sub par. The bed was horrible—most uncomfortable. We would recommend that the owner replace the mattress and sheets before renting again. Throw rugs in the bathroom and kitchen as well as the screen door to the patio are dangerous. I fell onto the patio as a result of the problems with the screen door. Both of us tripped on the rugs. Fortunately, we did not fall. I, did, however, have some deep cuts on my arm and sore places on my torso as a result of the fall on the patio. .

Location and check in was great. Condo is within walking distance to many good restaurants and activities. Condo could use some repairs and upgrades as others have mentioned. Screen doors, bathroom walls and toilet kept running. Carpet in unit was a turn off. Street noise and construction made having the air conditioner white noise useful. Bed was comfortable

Tired, noisy and in need of an update.
Nice central location on the island and the brewery across the street was a plus. We have stayed at this development previously with a much different experience. Unit 203 is tired and in need of an upgrade. While the unit was recently painted, there are several maintenance issues in need of attention. The patio door needs replaced, currently a series of wood shims are holding the door in a quasi workable condition. The screen door is only useable by holding on to the bottom portion to keep it from falling off the tracks. I would not want to have any young children near this door. Offers to remove the screen would have created an unworkable situation in a unit that is not air conditioned. The patio door curtain appears to have mold on the lining. The shower doors need to be fixed or replaced and the toilet handle sticks. This unit is very close to the main road through the area, definitely a consideration for light sleepers. Our previous stay was in a unit closer to the middle of the development and was much quieter. The units near the road also have a close up view of an old structure that appears past due for demolition. The small beach area below the unit is a popular place for local fisherman, which is fine, however, the burning of wet driftwood creates quite an unpleasant odor. I hate to sound like a complainer, however our stay was only four days over a weekend so I did not bring all of these items to the attention of the property manager.

Very enjoyable stay
This place had everything we needed and many extras. The view was fabulous from the balcony and living room. The pool and the grounds were excellent. The location was great, the only drawback being the traffic noise from the street, but the sound of the waves pretty much neutralized that. The following items were not satisfactory: the screen on the sliding door came off and needs replacing, the wall in the bathroom needs repair, the tub faucet needs replacing. Honestly, with some basic renovation, this place could easily be a 4- star. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

The view!
Spectacular ocean views on this 2nd floor unit. We stayed with 2 teens and 1 used the pullout and Candace was nice enough to send an air mattress for the other. Kitchen fully stocked, pans, plates and a few spices, oils. Beds were comfy. Pool was great. Access to beach, shopping and bakery near by. All within walking distance. This is a well loved unit and can use some new carpet and repairs to the sliding glass doors, but the view made it all worth it. Road noise in front bedroom might be an issue for some, but was fine for us as we live in a big city. Value of this condo would bring us back again.

Great Location
In truth, we spent very little time during daylight hours in the unit, and it was adequate for our needs. The location is convenient for both south and north side island activities whether it is Waimea Canyon hiking or Hanalei Bay / Na Pali Coast surfing, snorkeling or exploring. Grocery stores are close and you can walk to the Coconut Market. The unit is well equipped for basic needs. One of the Tommy Bahama beach chairs was broken beyond repair so we hand to purchase a replacement. The unit is only air ci destined by a portable unit in the bedroom and the e rest of the unit gets very stuffy during the day. But the bedroom unit cools the sleeping area adequately well for comfortable sleeping. It looks like the carpets, paint and furnishings have not been replaced for more than a decade but are comfortable and for the little time we spent in the unit (mostly watching Netflix after dark) was just fine. The best part of the unit is the view the value. For value and convenience we would consider staying here again! Mahalo

Great beachfront Condo
The beachfront location of this condo is great for watching the waves. Perfect location makes it easy to get to anywhere on the island. One drawback of the location of this condo was the road that was close and very busy and loud day and night. Check in and check out process was very quick and easy. I had noticed other reviews saying that the screen door was broken, unfortunately it was still broken for our visit. One of the beach chairs and a chair on the lanai was also broken. The condo was very clean but needs some attention and updating. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The pool was very cold, even on a hot day. Overall a great condo for the price.

Really nice space with a fabulous view of the beach which is easily accessed from the condo building. Some street noise BUT closing the bedroom windows eliminated that. Would absolutely recommend this place to others.

Centrally located getaway
This condo was exactly what we were looking for. Located right off the main road, it was easy to get around. The beach right next door was beautiful and it was a quick walk to and from a little shopping mall and differemt beach up the road. Many restaurants in walking distance also. Having in room laundry was a perk, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Bedroom was comfortable with the AC, and the rest of the condo stayed pretty cool with windows open and fans on. You can tell the condo is a bit dated but for the cost, it is more than worth it. Would definitely stay again.

Decent value, but dated; could benefit from upgrades
We stay at this complex due to the great ocean view and location, depending on the price and availability of the units. There are tradeoffs: the nicer, upgraded units are more expensive. Pros: Beach equipment, numerous towels & hangers, kitchen accoutrements, A/C and sound machine in bedroom. Cons: screen doors need to be replaced, tripping hazard separates kitchen, carpet dinginess, dingy foam sofa. The screen doors were in terrible shape. The righthand door was completely off the tracks, leaning against the lanai, and the lefthand one barely moved. We asked the property manager about it the next day. Although the response was quick, we were told that they had "screen door specialists working on the door" who have "been making great progress." (???) And someone "will come in the morning" to work on it. No one came after two more days, at which time we reached out again. Although someone did eventually come, the doors remained difficult to move. Multiple reviewers have mentioned the screen doors, which continue to be problematic. They need to be replaced. The carpet in the photos looks newly cleaned and thus didn't represent what we experienced; it could really use a thorough cleaning. There is an unfortunately located raised laminate bar thingie on the floor separating the kitchen from the hall that we both hurt our feet on. While we'd stay here again, just know the unit is dated and the screen doors are in sore shape. The ocean view is always a winner!
