The hotel over all was very nice. We had a toom facing the pool and there were people using the pool until after 11pm even though the pool closed at 10pm. Also beds are very firm.

21-22 July 2024 Ferguson Falls Stay

Great stay as usual at this property. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick, professional and friendly. Special thanks to Sierra for accommodating a last minute room type change when we learned a family member would be joining us and we'd need two queen sized beds instead of the king we booked.

Rustic on the Outside - Updated in the Inside

It is high season in Fergus Falls. And for the business traveler really not many business hotels for any price. This Country Inn looked a little dated from the outside but the room as clean and the breakfast good. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Our room should have been cleaner as there was candy on the floor and hair in the shower. The carpet in hallways was dirty. We went to the ‘free’ breakfast and the eggs, sausage & biscuits were totally gone. No service at all to refill food. The juice machine was not working and the waffle mixture was too runny to use. Both of the ice machines in the hallway were not working. We’d never stay there again.

When we pulled up, we thought it was closed and vacant. There was only one car in the lot. Then when we checked in, the lady told us there were more people staying there. And she was very friendly and nice. The room was nice and the pool area was very nice. That was the biggest pool we’ve seen in a hotel before. I’d just say the property outside was very run down, could use some love. Overall a great and quiet place to stay.

We were disappointed to find only 1 desk chair, when the room has 2 beds. We did take a chair in from the balcony area. There were not many working outlets, either.

It was hard to find a person working the front desk, they were always in the back and had to yell to find someone one. The heater / air conditioner was so loud . We had to turn it off to sleep or watch tv and made uncomfortably hot. The curtains in the bedroom of the suite did not cover very the entire window allowing light from the pool area all night long to be in our eyes. Very out dated. Internet was spotty and had to use my own hotspot to connect for work. We have had stayed here often in the past but seems like degrading and not being cared for. Couch in the suite area was very hard and uncomfortable to use.
