Very run down. Unfriendly, bored and overworked staff. Dead rat under the filthy sun lounger. Poor area. Nothing to do, poor gym, no public areas, rooms not very clean and quality of linen bad. Think this may be a hotel that is sadly being run by accountants and on its way out…

This was one of our best vacations. We booked our excursions locally to the marina. Corsair ll for fishing out Oceans Edge and Casual Monday for sand bar tour out of Perry’s marina which both we highly recommend. We found this location was much more appealing than staying downtown. This resort made it easy because they had a shuttle back-and-forth to Old Town. The location was absolutely beautiful. Our rooms were amazing. Everything looked fresh and new. There’s also a golf course, conveniently located on the island. For us, Oceans Edge Resort and Marina was the best suitable location for everything we wanted to do in Key West. Hogfish, Hurricane Hole, Roostica and Bad Boy Tequilaria are some great local hangouts close enough. This resort even offered golf carts for rent which we did for a few days to get around evening taking it downtown. They also offered kayaking, paddle boarding and jet skis. The amazing sunsets from our rooms on the 3rd floor were breath taking with live music on the patio most nights. We will definitely will back. Great for families and couples.

I absolutely love this hotel! Everything about it is fantastic—the beautiful garden, the amazing pools, and its family-friendly atmosphere, especially for kids. This hotel made my visit to Key West truly memorable. I only wish I could have stayed longer!
