Less than a mile to the picturesque Mallory Square and just under a mile to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic Park, there will be no shortage of attractions to explore close by. Hop on a ferry to Sunset Key for a day trip, walk to the Little White House, or enjoy the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square. Rent a stand-up paddleboard to get out on the waves, or reserve your spot on a high-flying parasailing adventure.

Wake up with a cup of coffee on your balcony as you plan your day, then do a few laps in the community pool. Cook up your catch from deep sea fishing in the fully equipped kitchen. Unwind with your favorite cable show, or stream a show on your device with the free WiFi. The shared washer/dryer will make sure you stay looking your best during your stay. The condo was clean and very well maintained. There were ample bath and beach towels supplied, as well as laundry and dishwasher detergent. We had to buy our own bath soap, condiments (salt/pepper), and coffee (only a day or two packets of coffee were supplied). The pool was close to our unit and there were plenty of chairs and tables. It would have been helpful if we could have communicated with the condo owner prior to our stay to get more detailed information about the unit. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and we would recommend it to others.

Truman Annex Stay

The unit at the Truman Annex was very clean and just the right size for the two of us. Key West is a walking town and the Truman Annex is in a great location to get to most of the town.

Very basic rental

The good: location! The condo is in the Truman Annex which is quiet and convenient to everything. The parking spot is a little difficult to find because it’s not in front of the condo. The pool is nice, plenty of chairs and shade when needed. The not so good: the condo is VERY basic. There are no plastic cups to have drinks down by the pool. There is nothing to carry your towels in to go to the beach. There are no games. The TVs and neck straining to watch because they’re mounted too high and they are small. Basically there are just NONE of the little extras that make renting a private condo appealing and there are way too many choices to choose such a basic one. And yes I know you’re in paradise but we all need a little downtime to relax so when you’re inside it should be well equipped. The bad: the air conditioning went out on our second day. The condo was 82 degrees for three days. I wouldn’t actually complain about this because it’s just something that happens. However, the Vacasa management is VERY POOR. I had to call them THREE times to get an update on when they would fix it. The maintenance guy brought two “portable air conditioners” that even he said “won’t help much”. They did not, it got down to 78 one night and that’s it. The biggest problem for me is the lack of communication. We’re paying over 2k for a week in a condo and you can’t even be bothered to call the tenant when they report a problem? It’s poor management.

Perfect location simple accommodations

The location of this condo could not have been better for our family. We could easily walk to anywhere in downtown, yet it was quiet for easy sleeping. The unit itself was bare minimum. Nothing fancy- basic essentials were covered. Washer and dryer in the unit was nice to have. It’s a bit dated, older furniture, basic plates and cups to use. Cable didn’t work and Wi-Fi was sketchy but we got by since we were rarely in the unit. Pool was close by and very clean- perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Communication issues

The pool was only open for 1 day of our stay. The main reason why we booked in Shipyard was because of the pool. We reached out to Vacasa and asked when the pool would be open again and after sending our confirmation number, we never received a reply. We feel as if we were unable to fully use the amenities at our condo and after reaching out, was never given any info. Overall the property, location, and check in/checkout process were great. Communication with your customers should come first in my mind and we are very unhappy with your failure to do so.

Great Location in old town Key West

This is a great location near Duvall Street. We slept very well. The queen bed was very comfortable. Overall the condo was clean but could use some minor maintenance. Patio door needs replacing. Kitchen needs better cookware. (clean but worn out) Owner asked renters to throw in a load of towels and I would have done that, if there was laundry soap in the unit. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Key West Condo

The rental company and the location were top notch. This condo does not have ANY bells and whistles. The toaster is half broken, the coffee pot had a broken top, the TV is tiny and ancient. We weren’t able to do any serious cooking as the kitchen was very small and sparsely accessorized. Will come back to the neighborhood but not this unit

Comfortable little cottage with 2 balconies!

It is wonderful to book a stay and then find out that it is as good as you hoped for. This two bedroom, VERY clean unit is nicely furnished, with great beds, and with 2 private balconies. The kitchen had everything we needed and the towels and bedding were top notch. Location is everything and it was an easy walk to Duval Street. We would stay here again!
