RULES:
Please review the Condo Rules & Guidelines before booking this property. Guests booking this property automatically agree to adhere to the Rules. The Rules are dictated in part by the Homeowner's Association, Short Term Rental Permit restrictions, and by the host for the guest's and nearby units comfort.
CONDO RULES & GUIDELINES:
Please treat the condo as if it were your own. It’s a vacation rental but also our second home. Some of these guidelines are required by the condo association:
1. DAMAGE: Notify owner immediately of any visible damage or issues upon check-in or any damage that occurs during your stay so the unit can be prepared for the next guest. (Having things fixed in Hawaii takes longer than on the mainland)
2. QUIET HOURS 10 PM to 8 AM: No loud talking/music/television or noise on the Lanai, and no running/jumping/stomping in the unit or running washer/dryer in lanai closet. If repeated noise violations occur, guest will be asked to leave the property and no refund will be offered. Guests in other units can hear you speaking on the lanai.
3. PARKING: One parking spot is available for this unit. A parking pass must be displayed (park in the designated spot #162). Parking passes are usually left inside the unit, either in the guest binder or in the drawers of the entryway credenza.
4. SHOES: Please remove shoes when inside the condo
5. SAND: Avoid tracking sand into the house, shake or rinse items with hose in parking lot. No sand in washer/dryer - please shake sand from everything before cleaning. Please don’t shake it out on the neighbors below you.
6. NO SMOKING in the condo or lanai - smoke in the parking lot (look for the designated bench/spot). Wash hands after smoking (before touching any household items). Security deposit will be charged if any evidence of smoking is found or reported by other units/GCV security.
7. TOWELS: Do not remove any bath or kitchen towels from the unit at any time. Only beach towels may be taken from the unit.
8. GUESTS: Four guests maximum allowed in the unit. Only those guests registered prior to the rental date are allowed.
a. Children of any age qualify as a guest and must be included as such when booking this property.
9. AIR CONDITIONING: Close all windows (including above entry door) when A/C is on. Please turn off the A/C when leaving the condo for more than an hour.
10. BEACH EQUIPMENT: Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards, small cooler and sand pail w/accessories available for guests only / please remove sand and return these items to their original location prior to departure.
11. LOCKING DOORS: Do not lock yourself out of the bedrooms, bathrooms or lanai. If locked out, contact owner, do NOT attempt to remove screens or break in through windows. A locksmith fee will be charged to guests.
12. PETS: Pets/animals are not allowed in the unit. A $500 fee will be charged if evidence of pet dander/hair or damage is found.
13. LAUNDRY/DRYING RACK: The HOA prohibits the use of drying things on the lanai or entry patio rails. Please use the drying rack.
14. CORDLESS BLINDS: Please use caution when operating the blinds or they may break. Pull firmly but gently to lower them, and lift firmly but gently to raise them.
15. BUGS/INSECTS: Please note, this property is in a tropical environment and occasional insects, geckos, and cobwebs are to be expected. No refunds will be issued for these occurrences

Pest control treatments are conducted periodically inside all units to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all guests. The host will provide the guest with a notice of the scheduled visit, which is typically communicated to the host one month in advance. Condo access is required for these treatments. Denying access may result in a fine of $200.
