Visited Hawaii for the first time over the 2024 Christmas holidays. Both my fiancée and I loved this hotel. It was very clean and the new tower was nicely updated. The room was super spacious and still cozy at the same time. The bed was comfortable. The property was not oceanfront but we still had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The surrounding area was peaceful. The hotel was a short walk across the street to the beach. Check in was smooth, there was free parking, and the hotel had beach chairs and umbrellas for rental. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Maui!

The hotel has thought of everything to make your stay amazing. We stayed in the new Kai resort building - bright, large, clean and modern room with lots of built-in space for laying out and storing your luggage and clothes, a great big shower and a balcony. Nice hot tubs and pools (including a lovely lap pool) - tons of lounge seating and they give you plush lounge covers and towels. Free shuttle within 3 mile radius. Free use of washer/dryer/detergent too which was handy. The resort fee is high because of these perks - but worth it. Lots of nice public beaches within walking distance. We would stay here again rather than in Wailea given the price and amenities. Only suggestion is to add a bench and some hooks (in the washrooms/showers) in the hospitality suite (which was large and clean and much appreciated)!

We loved everything about this place ! Our room on the top floor overlooking ocean, 2 pools, 3 hottubs and bar in the new tower was huge with floor to ceiling windows ! They had nightly entertainment and happy hour which was great! A plus was free laundry and detergent which I’ve never seen at a hotel .

This property has pictures as if it was right by the beach. It’s not. It’s about a block away, not too bad. When we arrived, I asked why the picture of the beach was posted on Expedia as if it was close by and the staff acted as if it was funny that we thought the beach was close by. The hotel room, in turn, was beautiful and clean! You can only drink at one section of the pool area, the other side they aren’t licensed to allow to drink at that area just yet. We were lucky if we got a nice staff at the restaurant and at the bar. The first day everyone was super amazing, then it all went downhill. They weren’t the same staff members as the first day we arrived. We will definitely be back to Maui but will probably look for a different place to stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff needs to be nicer to EVERYONE not just the people who appear to have money.

The atmosphere was amazing, it’s was quiet and friendly around the pool, the cocktails are good, the staff are amazing. The property was clean and look nice and modern. The washer machine and dryer available for free with detergent include ;) I will rate a 4.5 we are coming back
