Oletko kyllästynyt pysymään samassa vanhassa tylsässä tylsessä hotellihuoneessa? Joten olimme, joten päätimme omistaa oman asuntolaivamme Tennessee-joella, jolla voimme kävellä melkein kaiken. ”Kuutamon hulluus” on telakoitu rauhalliseen vapaaehtoiseen laskuvenesatamaan Knoxvillessä. Meillä on 2 makuuhuonetta, yksi king-size-vuode päällikössä ja täysvuode miehistötiloissa ja queen-size-vuodesohva sekä 2 kylpyhuonetta. Meillä on katolla 3 kannet, yksi keula, yksi perästä (sopii erinomaisesti aamukahviin) ja 70'-JUHLAKANSI. Juhlakannella on runsaasti istumapaikkoja sekä 2 taulu-HD-televisiota ja kaasugrilli ja kaasulämmitin. Päälliköllä on myös 40 'Vizio UHD -taulu Smartcastilla. Salongissa on myös 50 'UHD-taulu. Veneemme on täysin varustettu puhtailla lakanoilla ja pyyhkeillä. Keittiön varustukseen kuuluu myös astiat, ruokailuvälineet ja pienet kodinkoneet sekä nopea internet. Tapaat paljon erittäin mukavia ihmisiä, jotka asuvat satamassa kokopäiväisesti. Lisäksi meillä on EZGO-golfkärry ja 2 kajakkia ja 2 rantaristeilypolkupyörää, joita voit käyttää veneessämme ollessa. Anteeksi, mutta asuntolaiva ei poistu venesatamasta joenvirran takia. Meillä on myös kokopäiväinen Marina Manager -päällikkö, jos tarvitset jotain tai sinulla on kysyttävää veneistämme. Haluamme, että vierailustasi tulee ikimuistoinen, ja teemme kaikkensa saadaksesi sinut takaisin.

Nice Boat
The actual boat was nice, and the upper deck is great! Owner was very quick to respond. The surrounding environment could be better. There was an odd smell outside that got into the living room area and several other boats were dumping garbage into the water. One didn't see my daughter and splashed her. We decided to cut our stay short by a night.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very convenient to the Riverwalk and a variety of local restaurants. I had to communicate with the owner about one thing and he was immediately available and very patient.

Fabulous choice for a mini vacay!
I did quite a bit of research to find a very unique location for a mini vacay. And boy Fonz's houseboat was spot on. I had looked for a spot on the water not too far from home (3 hours) since traveling with children. His boat is immaculate and furnished very cool and extremely comfortable, including the beds and bedding. Fonz has thought of everything for his guests. We did not want for anything. Our clan took advantage of all sitting areas. Bow of the boat was a good area for people watching, having cocktails and kids coloring at the large table. The stern was perfect for watching wildlife and fishing and/or sunbathing. And yet another area to hang. The rooftop deck was amazing. Soooooo large and perfect for catching a breeze and family dinners by the bbq. Golf cart was a godsend. Took it to walk my dog for potty walks and to Calhouns for dinner one evening. There is a trolley at the Marina which is free and we spent an afternoon in downtown Knoxville getting off and on the trolley. Found a fabulous restaurant for lunch after getting a bit lost.......The French Market Creperie. Delish and desserts to die for. One day we rented a catamaran and had a blast. And I must mention how clean the city of Knoxville is and how kind the locals were. We plan on coming back!

Perfect Getaway for Small Group
Stayed as a group of three to relax on the river and explore Knoxville for memorial day weekend. The boat had plenty of room for us and could have even accomodated 1 or 2 more. All of the essentials were on board and instructions for bathrooms and appliances were clear. The A/C units worked surprisingly well and cooled the rooms quickly. The top deck is the best part as there is tons of space to grill, lounge, and even play cornhole. The marina is super quiet and is perfectly situated right next to a trail for running or biking. It's also walkable to all areas downtown in less than 30 minutes. We also made us of the kayaks and paddled the river and enjoyed a scenic view.

Unforgettable Stay on Moonlight Madness
We recently hosted a small graduation celebration on the houseboat, and it was perfect! The boat is beautifully maintained and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Being right on the river added a unique and special touch which everyone enjoyed. The living spaces were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. The outdoor deck provided stunning views and was the ideal spot for our gathering. Fonz was a fantastic host – super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience!!!

Weekend Getaway
We met friends for the weekend and chose Moonlight Madness because it looked so charming. We were right! It’s a fun houseboat, there’s plenty of room to play cards or to just sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. There are several coolers, extra towels, toiletries, etc. In case you forget it, Moonlight Madness has it! Fonz is a great host, I had some questions about check in and he was very quick to respond. Pro Tip: Upon arriving, park your car but leave your luggage. Walk down to the boat to retrieve your parking pass and the golf cart. Drive it up to your car and ride your luggage down.

Cool place
Perfect place for us. We had four. Two adults, two teens. Space for everyone. And a dog. Worked out great for us. The golf cart was very helpful and appreciated to get things from the parking lot. Full kitchen and plenty of extra linen. Right on the river but the boat barely moved, if you’re worried about that. Fonz was very responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend.

Best Houseboat Ever
Rented this beauty for my daughter’s birthday. We could have stayed anywhere but I wanted something different since it was my daughter’s birthday. This houseboat was the perfect solution. It’s spacious, had plenty of amenities, the heaters worked great (yes it was 30 degrees at night), the host is so accommodating and responsive. Being on the river is peaceful, relaxing and so quiet. We loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave. The golf cart definitely came in handy for my elderly mother as the boat is located a ways from the parking lot. The decor is music themed and charming. The owner even left some flowers and a birthday card for my daughter. I highly recommend this as a place to stay but I probably shouldn’t because it’s already booked the next time we are coming to town. So glad we decided to try something new! Thanks Fonz for the quick replies and being such an accommodating host.

Bucket List Birthday!
Houseboat was wonderful! Everything just as described and in pictures. Four of us girlfriends celebrated my birthday here. Decks are wonderful for enjoying the fresh air and the river. Walked to dinner two nights and 6 min drive to Market Square for wonderful shopping and dining. Mattresses were so comfortable. Super place to get away!

Riverboat stay
First time staying on a boat. A little cramped but what we expected. Boat was clean and the golf cart was a great feature. We were there for Tenn basketball game which was in walking distance. Would recommend staying here.

Poor Customer Experience
I first want to recognize that the majority of reviews are 5 stars and had so badly wished that would be my experience as well. Unfortunately, I can not rate my experience as such and find it valuable to share with others, as highly unlikely the owner repeats, but has shown this level of service is possible. Check-In: According to the owner football season is their "bread and butter" because of this one would assume the following: -Have a manager present/nearby if not so yourself to assist -Have the place prepped and ready for your guest's stay Unfortunately, there was a miss across the board for this owner. Due to the location not being ready upon arrival we do appreciate the initial feedback from the owner of "I want to make this right" As we viewed the previous guest's mess, all members of our particular party agreed that we needed to inquire about a refund as it just did not feel right (or clean) staying there. After some communication with the owner (who by the way was out of the country during their "bread and butter" season with no onsite/nearby managers), the owner had agreed a refund would be granted, after proof of golf cart keys, and house keys placed back with a photo sent to his phone. After this was completed, and other arrangements made, this is when communication really took a turn. I inquired about the refund and the owner let me know that after discussing the situation with other owners, he would only allow a credit for future bookings and no refund would be applied. When I followed up by asking why this was mentioned to one of the guests the owner advised that was never said. Upon Letting them know I have the screenshot of the text and the photo sent confirming keys had been placed back I was then followed up with "Never told "guest" that. Told him I would compensate him for dinner while the boat was being prepared" Again, I have the screenshot of the text from the owner to one of my guests mentioning "Refund will be made once I can confirm the door keys and golf cart keys have been returned" As I politely challenged the owner on this communication I was then followed up with "Bottom line I will refund the first night and offer a credit for a future stay" Mind you we had already now booked a new clean and ready boat. I again want to recognize the majority of reviews are good, my experience has just been brutal to say the least. Unlikely you would receive the same service given, but important to know it's possible.

Perfect!
We had such a wonderful time on the boat. We have been coming to watch Tennessee and Alabama for over 20 years in Knoxville and have stayed just about everywhere. I can honestly say there is no better place to stay than the Moonlight Madness! On our way home, I believe there was more conversation about our stay than the game. Our experience on the boat helped to ease the pain of a last-minute field goal by Tennessee to win the game. We will be back Tennessee, and we will stay on the Midnight Madness!

Wife’s 60th Birthday
We arrived at the property and after a little confusion on our part where the marina was located, we parked and got right in. Little did we know how convenient the golf cart would be with multiple parties arriving at different times. Everyone that was on a boat as visitors or residents were so helpful and friendly. Accessing the boat was easy with the concise directions. What a fabulous boat! All the amenities were as advertised and and it was a perfect place to operate out of. It was a short trip to Market Square where we had meals on two different occasions. On our last night we walked down the greenway and ate on the river. We brought our senior dog who was comfortable and loved it. She even decided to take a plunge off the dock much to our surprise. There really isn’t anything that we found lacking at this property; great Wi-Fi, Tv reception, decor. Our entire party was absolutely beaming the whole weekend. The owner checked in via text occasionally to see if we needed anything. My wife and her dear friend with the same birthday were thrilled, as were all our friends.
