Good, solid and welcoming accommodations. Clean rooms, extensive amenities. Nice restaurant, excellent breakfast and good food. Bring bathing suit.

Fine for a one or two nights stay

The hotel was OK however we did find the quality of bedding and mattress to be below expectations for a 4 star and the combination of pink and green deco in the room a little weird. Staff were very helpful, restaurant food was good.

Pictures dont reflect reality

Stafff was extremely Nice and accomodating. However the hotel does Not look at all like the pictures, the wi-fi stop working or gets really slow After 10 pm. It has a lot of amenities like sauna but you Have to pay. refrigerador in my room did Not work, and there Was a small eléctrica problem.

Close to Tarqi exhibition center

It was a good stay, except for 2 problems... Wifi doesn't work in the lobby or in the room.. works only at conference room.... 2nd Air Conditioning was not working at all....

Orient Hotel - downtown Krakow yet quiet

The Orient Hotel was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect. It was clean and restocked daily. By far, the food at the hotel was spectacular! And the price was awesome. We paid small prices for a gourmet meal. Their breakfast was included and traditional. The pool has a lifeguard. The water is warm and clean. The hot tin was warm: not too hot and not too cold. We will be staying here again!

Hotel orient in Krakow is a great deal

This was our second stay at hotel Orient. We were there during a national holiday and stayed for three nights. The hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was appreciated. The room was spacious and very quiet at night. The only drawback was that the shower did not put out enough water and it was not hot. The breakfast downstairs is lovely and whe we asked they gave us hot eggs in the morning. The hotel staff is really great and very accommodating. You could not ask more for the price. This was a business trip for us and very close to our work. Plenty of free parking. However, it is a long walk if you do not have a car.

Hotel is ten minute brisk walk from nearest tram stop along narrow road. Allow 45 minutes for travel to the city . Room was basic and could have been cleaner. Breakfast is buffet with good selection.

What a gem!The hotel was fautless at the price we paid.Breakfast outstanding.The hotel`restaurant fantastic.Only spoiled by a rowdy school party on 1 night.Pool looked great but we never got to try it.

Air Conditioning never did work. Asked hotel staff to fix it and they never did anything. Hotel is in the industrial part of the city so if you are coming here as a tourist you don't want to stay here. It is to far of a taxi ride to the center of the city.

Orient Hotel Krakow, Poland

Unless you are upgrading, maybe, from a hostel, avoid this mess. We booked hotels.com, and when checking our booking b4 leaving Warsaw noticed they posted their a/c was out! It was 27C that day, 30C when we got in the room. The very young man at the desk told us it had been out a week, they were ordering parts! Upon complaining the next day were told we could have a fan. My wife is from Poland and was appauled. US$8 taxi each way to city center was OK, and we didn't need the free porn on the 1985 model TV. Futon type double killed our backs. Great dinner in the restaurant, but hardly worth the hassle and attitude of the staff, and heat of the room at night. Had a very Russian atmosphere, and as my wife speaks the language we quickly learned most guests were Russian businessmen in the oil business. Every taxi driver told us this was a poor grade hotel, and we should stay downtown, which I recommend to all. When checking out my wife asked for the manager, who would not come out but sent a young lady who simply didn't know enough about customer service to care.

Nice place to stay

The staff was extremely helpful -the first clerk spoke English well-can't say the same about the night staff. The one amenity that made us stay there was the pool/hot tub for the kids: a little disappointing. The sauna was cold, and they closed the pool about 15 minutes early -about 10 minutes after we got there! Otherwise the accomodations were above our expectations: the rooms were great.

it's only good when you need to be close to the Exhibition Hall

went to Krakow for business, and found this hotel said just 10 mins walk from the exhibition hall. it's is the closest.. However, Found out that there is a tram station outside the exhibition hall and have service direct to City centre, which mean I will recommend whoever need to do business at the Exhibition hall, found some hotel that have close access on tram station with No.1 / 14/ 22 service.

De la rouille sur par endroit, un mini frigo qui fonctionne a moitié ( et dont de l'eau en coule ) La lampe principale de la chambre ne fonctionne pas. Un énorme vis qui sors du lit sur lequel ont pourrais facilement se blesser. La chambre n'a été nettoyer qu'une fois sur 4 nuit. 2 prise électrique murale ( dont une cachée et l'autre qui fonctionne a peu près ) Petit déjeuner basique mais suffisant Personnel très sympathique et serviable Je m'y suis rendu pour un événement se passant au Expo Krakow et ces assez bien placer pour ça... par contre loin du centre ville et les environ sont très industriels et pas très beau/acceuillant

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The place is quiet and calm. Only negative point is the connection with the center of the city by public transport but Uber/taxi is filling the gap. Really close to EXPO Krakow (15 mins by walking).

Rezerwując pokój zaznaczyłam opcje z łóżkiem podwójnym,niestety Pan w recepcji dał nam z dwoma łóżkami ,po interwencji dostaliśmy z podwójnym ,przeprosił Nas i powiedział ze nie widział tego w systemie .Wszystko odbyło sie w miłej atmosferze.Pokój czysty łazienki na 3+ łóżka natomiast b .twarde jak dla Nas nie dało się spać . Na dużą pochwałę zasługują śniadania pyszne ,bogate.Plusem jest basen ,niestety nie mieliśmy okazji skorzystać z niego. Cały pobyt oceniam na 4+ .Minusem niedziałająca klima ( 28 stopni na zawnątrz)

Cztery gwiazdki to tylko element nazwy hotelu

Cztery gwiazdki są obecnie elementem nazwy hotelu, a nie wyznacznikiem jakości. Hotel zdobył 4 gwiazki w 2000 roku i zdaje się, że od tego momenu nic się w hotelu nie zmieniło. Łóżko to zwykły tapczan, w łazience stara zasłona zamiast kabiny, toaleta na jakimś dziwnym podwyższeniu przez co niższym osobom mogą zwisać nogi, brak mydła w dozowniku pod prysznicem. Ponadto w całym hotelu w częsciach wspólnych panowała temperatura ok. 29 stopni, pomino działającej klimatyzacji. W pokoju było nieco lepiej, ale poniżej 24 stopni nam się nie udało zejść. Jedyny plus to basen, dla gości hotelu bezpłatny. Ale ręczniki trzeba było wziąć z pokoju, nie dostaliśmy osobnych. No i rok po wprowadzeniu RODO, hotel posługuje się nieaktualnymi wzorami zgód na przetwarzanie danych osobowych i wymaga podania takich danych jak numer dowodu czy pesel.
