Room was nice. Location is great with a quick walk to restaurants and shopping. To note no onsite laundry, but a close 24 hour laundry mat worked great. Only one English channel and unlike other hotels visited in Japan no access to Netflix or Amaze prime. Would be nice to be able to unwind after long days of exploring.

Excellent property in the Gion neighborhood of Kyoto. Conveniently walkable to many of the major tourist destinations. Great in hotel dining options and an unlimited amount of excellent cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

I appreciated the hotel’s responsiveness when I expressed my initial concerns about being assigned to the ground floor. The front desk promptly arranged a move to the fifth floor, which I found to be very accommodating. After spending a few days there, I discovered that we were conveniently located within walking distance of many of the sightseeing spots we wanted to explore. This central location certainly enhanced our overall experience.
