It is a privately owned accommodation facility newly opened based on the Accommodation Business Act in the late 2019.Renovation work was done in May 2018.It is a very beautiful facility.
As a tourist to Kyoto using Airport Limousine Bus, JR Line and Shinkansen, it takes about 12 minutes from Takeda Station to Kintetsu Line or Subway from Kyoto Station, and it is a very convenient location.The bus track is also full, and it is close to the popular tourist attraction Inari Taisha.Axel to each sightseeing spot in Kyoto city is convenient.
It is a 53 cm3 space for a single family, there is a storage area on the first floor, a toilet, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms on the second floor, ideal for families and friends groups.
The rooms are fully equipped and equipped with 3 air conditioners, cookware such as a toaster, refrigerator and microwave, and bath products such as body soap, shampoo and conditioner are also provided.

Nice, peaceful location
Nice peaceful location and decorated beautifully with a Japanese style. My husband and I enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood is and yet just a short walk to the train station (less than 10 minutes). The hosts are so kind, helpful and quick to respond to any of your questions as well. The house has a good size refrigerator too. It does not have a stove and I missed not having a stove. My husband and I misread that when booking. It does have pretty much anything else you might need. It is very spacious, well kept and clean too.

Great communication and cleanliness
We had to stay at a slightly different location than the one we booked due to an ‘accident’ at the property, but the host met us at the train station and walked with us to the property. The place we stayed at seemed very similar to the one we booked and was very clean. It was my husband’s first time sleeping on a futon on the floor the traditional way and it wasn’t comfortable to him, but at least now we know for future reference when we book.

Warm welcome from owner and well connected to Kyoto center
Very traditional property and an excellent host that explained us everything we needed to know. Also gave some recommendations for sushi nearby and it was absolutely delicious.

Owner is very nice and communicative. His lodging is the best place we stayed at in Japan, we will definitely recommending others to this lodging. Owner maintains it very well, it’s very clean, and very hospitable. Easily 5 stars especially for the price!

Spacious and clean apartment
We stayed at Kikuchi’s apartment in Kyoto and it served us well! It is a very Japanese place, meaning that the stairway going up to the second floor and the door frames are a lot lower than normal. Be careful if you are a taller person, my boyfriend hit his head a lot! The neighborhood is pretty far from the main part of Kyoto but there are two train stations 15-20 minutes away. Mei is a great communicator and met us at the place with instructions.

A quiet place to stay
This property was the best place we stayed in during our entire one month trip to Japan. A little South of all the main attractions, it was still within easy walking distance from the Karasuma Subway and the Keihan Train Line, with great access to everything. The character of the house is very Japanese; clean and comfortably orderly in that regard. The host was reasonably hands-off, yet also quite helpful during our stay.

清潔で新しい。24時間営業のスーパーマーケットおよび百円ショップが徒歩３分にある。必要充分な設備がありコスパ最高。周辺はかなり庶民的な雰囲気の家が立ち並ぶが、決して危険エリアではない。

Amazing stay in an authentic Japanese house
My partner and I spent one week in this apartment and we had a great stay. We chose this option in order to experience a Japanese house and we didn’t regret it. The two-floors house has all the amenities (a.c., washing machine, little kitchen), tatami (we loved it) and definitely more space for luggages than a standard hotel. The apartment is located 10 min walking from Takeda station, it might be not the closest spot to the main sightseeings but it is well connected to the city centre and we enjoyed staying in a non- touristy neighbourhood.

ここを起点にして京都をめぐるにはとてもいい‼近くには、和食のさと、24時間営業のスーパー、安い駐車場、品揃えのよい100円ショップがあります。また、竹田駅は京都のどこに行くのにも行きやすいです。 敷き布団が、もう少し厚いといいです。
