This hotel is PERFECT. I know that sounds like hyperbole. But I mean it. The staff is AMAZING. So friendly and helpful. The hotel is located where all the action is. Food, Shopping, entertainment all with in walking distance. I found where I will stay when I come to Kyoto.

stunning modern hotel in the center of everything. The famous market is right next door and shops are literally everywhere. Lots of restaurants in the area. The room was large and the view was incredible. The washer/dryer in the room was a great addition. But the most amazing thing was the extremely friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Great hotel, highly recommend. Thank you.

Tokyu hotel was a pleasant stay. The location is convenient and close to the metro and bus stops, there were also a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was clean, and included a washer/dryer combo. The staff were very helpful, and spoke English. I would recommend this hotel.

This place was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan by far! Amazing service and staff. The location was right by transit and the popular Nishiki Market and Pontocho Alley. Plus, free coffee, tea and sake (in the evenings) in the lobby! I've already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Service
The hotel is tucked into a pedestrian alley and shopping arcade, but is right off a busy thoroughfare in the center of the city. It is mere steps away from the famous Nishiki Market and lots of world-class stores and sights. The staff at the desk were very gracious, and the room was nicely appointed. The evening happy hour with complimentary wine and sake lasts until 9pm and was a wonderful way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

This hotel was very expensive compared to our others in Japan. Whilst convenient to the markets and dining options it wasn’t the best place to stay for the temples and sights that we were in Kyoto to see. The room was tiny and cave like with no housekeeping other than towel changes each day - I would probably not choose this one again as just think there is better value elsewhere.

Loved our stay in Kyoto at this hotel! It’s located right on top of a donut shop and a walk away from several restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and service was great. I’d definitely come back!
