This was our second stay at the Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto, and we absolutely love this place. Tons of stuff within walking distance, and Karasuma-Oike station is about 100 yards from the front door. We plan on coming back. Cheers

If I’m ever back in Kyoto I will be booking this hotel. The light snacks and drinks in the afternoon were perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect. There are so many good restaurants near by.

Great location. Comfy beds. Lounge is great to relax in, have a drink and a small bite after a busy day sightseeing. Great little eateries nearby but need book a day in advance.

Great hotel conveniently located next to train line and lots of cafe/restaurant and shopping areas. Also close to the Gion and the historic district of Kyoto. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Hotel has a great customer lounge also.

Outstanding hotel, possibly one of the best I’ve stayed at. The room was very large and had excellent layout. Very zen decor throughout, feeling of calm and comfort. Excellent service. Very nice public bath that I used several times to soak tired muscles after long days sight-seeing. Thoughtful touches throughout. Wow, what a place to stay, I didn’t want to leave.
