The bed was actually good. These cheaper hotels usually have hard mattresses and those bean baggy pillows, but I was able to sleep for once. The location is great. Maybe a little noisy because it is in a busy area, but it didn’t bother me. They provided waters as well. I definitely would recommend it.

Very clean. Sheet including flat and fit sheets were change everyday. They room is spacious compared to other hotel. This was an inn and I am very surprised how up scale everything was. I would book it again.

This property is in the center of all the action in central Kyoto and steps away from many restaurants, buses, subway and railway lines. However, it is a modest hotel so there is no lounge in the lobby (there is an Italian style restaurant) so you can only go to your room to unwind. Rooms are well equipped but modest. Great location for the price and plenty to see and do.

This may be my favourite hotel in Japan!
I love the UNIZO brand and always choose them when available. This was my third stay at this hotel in Kyoto. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms--apart from the idiot down the hall that never learned how to close a door--good breakfast in an excellent location. This is everything I ask from a hotel I cannot recommend UNIZO enough and this hotel in particular!
