Tämä kaunis seetrimökki-koti tarjoaa ylellisiä mukavuuksia koko tilavassa kodissamme; jäsenoikeudet Rumbling Bald Resort of Lake Luressa; upeimmat vuoristomaisemat koko Länsi-Pohjois-Carolinassa; ja pääsy uskomattomille alueille tutkia, löytää ja rentoutua Lure-järvestä Chimney Rockiin Blue Ridge -vuoristoon ja Parkwayn kautta Ashevilleen Biltmore Estate -alueeseen niin paljon muuta.

"Päätaso" sisältää keittiön, ruokasalin ja suuren huoneemme sekä neljä lasiovet, jotka johtavat suurelle kannelle kahdella peitetyllä huvimajalla. Päämakuuhuone, jossa on king-size-vuode ja kylpy, sekä erillinen puolihaute, ovat myös päätasolla. Absolutely five stars
We loved The Overlook at Lake Lure! The cabin is perfect for a family or for a couple’s get-away. We celebrated our anniversary here and hope to return. The view is breath-taking, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, but you don’t feel like you’re in a neighborhood. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you would want/need - WiFi, smart TVs (at least four), cozy couches, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms and fun games like foosball, pool, pinball, Frogger, Galaga, etc. The outdoor deck has a gas grill, many chairs and a gas firepit table. We appreciated the alarm and when we sent a message through VRBO about it, the owner responded quickly and was very helpful. We were fortunate to have the view of many beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Even if we hadn’t been lucky with the weather, we would absolutely give this cabin five stars because the rating is about the cabin and the cabin is fantastic!

Awesome Time
My family (7 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 12) had an awesome time. The location was perfect. The neighborhood, although somewhat of a climb, was all paved so it was easy to acccess. The house was perfect with amazing views from the living room, master, play room, and deck. We loved the gas firepit on the deck, just hanging out and staring at the view. The kids and adults played pool and other games for hours. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely consider renting this house again.

Some friends and I took a weekend in the mountains and enjoyed our time at the overlook. The porch gives a great view of the valley and mountains. Our favorite and most used amenity was the gas fire pit on the porch. Matt was very responsive when we messaged. We would recommend renting from Matt and Katie.

Beautiful home for a short or long getaway
This home was the perfect location to get together with our family of mixed ages. We were glad to be able to enjoy the beautiful view from inside the home and from the back deck. It rained part of our trip but the game room provided plenty of entertainment for everyone. The only improvement we would make would be to have more usable surfaces in the bathrooms. All-in-all, everything was lovely!

Wonderful Property
My family and I stayed here for a cousin's retreat 7/12-7/17/2024. We had a fabulous time. The cabin was beautifully decorated. There was plenty of space to spread out (9 of us). The beds slept comfortably. Everything is neatly placed throughout and clean. So many family games to choose from. We loved that! We had all the kitchen items needed to prepare delicious meals. Beautiful scenery from the wrap-around deck. It was home away from home. If we choose Lake Lure again, we would consider staying at this property again!

Perfect Getaway
This property was the perfect vacation my family and I needed to get away and relax. It was quiet and location was beautiful. Incredible view!! It was clean, well kept, and comfortable. The kids loved the game room and it kept them busy. I enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the mornings and evenings. It was a great location with access to whatever you may need. Not too far from the lake. We didn’t have many needs and try to be low maintenance but I felt that if I had any need arise I could easily reach the hosts. Everything was very comfortable in the cabin from beds to furniture. Zero problems! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to getaway!! Loved it!

Rest & Relaxation
Had a restful and relaxing time with family. Host were very responsive throughout the trip. The AC had trouble but Katie and Matt responded quickly and got it working again in less than 24 hours. Also because of our troubles with the AC they credited back a night stay (without asking). The master door needs repairing and caused some nuasance entering. There were lots of puzzles and games. Plenty of linens and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck. The game room was nice as well as the media room. We're grateful for the priceless memories made.

Spectacular view, but could use some updates.
Stayed at Overlook for a week + 1 day with family and friends. I don't normally leave reviews, but thought I would like to leave my general impression staying here. The good: The view, secluded and private. The game room and theater room. The Master suite. OK but acceptable: The kitchen cabinets, dining table and general condition of the inside of the property is well loved and could use some updates. Although the host was generally responsive, a few times I felt like I was left hanging. Not sure that the VRBO email is the best way to communicate. We needed to stay an extra night and were able to work this out, Matt was nice to deal with. The bad: The only complaint that I have is the cleanliness of the cabin when we arrived. We discovered a band-aid hanging on a beam near the dining room and the cabin as a whole is a little dusty and could use a deep cleaning. Considering the cleaning fees associated with this rental, ($210 for cleaning plus another $210 for one 14 lb dog for the week) it should've sparkled if you ask me. Overall there is value in staying at this property and we did enjoy it. As I said the views are spectacular and there was plenty to do (gameroom, movies) while there. We all thought a hot tub would be an awesome addition to this property as well. Don't let any of my comments keep you away from renting this. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Can't quite give it a 5 star rating, lets call it a 4 and a half.

Most amazing VRBO to date
A group of friends rented the cabin for a father/son getaway, and we had the most amazing time. Plenty of entertainment and good times around the pool table, game room, board games, home theater, and fully stocked kitchen. The photos were accurate and exactly what we found unlike some stays. Wonderful rental and great communications from the hosts. Awesome stay, we didn’t want to leave!

Friends Mountain Weekend

Couple days in NC home
We are a family of 11 with grand children. The property fits all age groups from a quite reading area, ping pong table, children stories, amazing overlook the mountain, comfort beds, both gas and wood fire pits. We received the instructions to disable the security system and we entered a wrong code. The owner immediately fixed it remotely and communicated with us. We appreciate his attention to the details. Thanks for the hosting.

Mountains literally in your backyard!!
The Overlook was the perfect spot for our multi generational family getaway. We were celebrating my son’s 8th birthday. I searched places for almost 2 months and saved over 50 different homes trying to narrow down and find the one that worked best for us. If you’ve been doing your research you have seen that some say only 2 vehicles allowed, quiet times by 9pm and no WiFi etc etc etc! Well not at the Overlook!!! We had 4 cars and had room for more if needed, no quiet time because you literally have no neighbors with the over 7 acres the property is nestled in. And we had several devices going at any given time and were still able to stream movies and play on the 2 PlayStation’s that we brought from home. Some of our 10 family members stayed in the game room 75% of the time. My 9 year old granddaughter learned she was a ping pong champion even beating her great grandfather along with her dad that had many years experience. Some of us just took the time to relax in the multiple places provided to do that. Just be warned that if you plan to chill and watch TV in the main living room during the day then you will not be able to take your eyes off the beautiful Mountain View’s. The pictures do not do the view justice because it makes them seem like they are further away than they appear in person. You literally feel like you have mountains right in your backyard. Have any ?’s, the owners gave rapid response. We didn’t leave the whole w/e. I would say even more but I’m limited1500

The Overlook
Amazing spacious cabin in a secluded area. Enjoyed all the amenities at the cabin. Glad there were tv’s in every room. The view was excellent anytime of the day. Would definitely come and stay here again. Owners were very quick to respond when we reached out.

Room with a view
We had such a great time exploring Lake Lure and Chimney Rock during the day. Then returning to the beautiful home with the spectacular view. We spent so much time out doors on the decks and both fire pits. The home has everything you could possible need. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will be back.
