Waterfront Moose -hytti Colby-järven rannalla, Saranac-järvi

Tämä mökki on muutaman askeleen päässä Colby-järven yksityiseltä rannalta ja on oma palo kuoppaan ulkopuolella. Vuokralaiset voivat käyttää mitä tahansa kuudesta veneestämme: riviveneestä, 2 täysikokoisesta kajakista ja kanootista sekä lasten koon kajakista. Colby-järvi tunnetaan erinomaisesta kalastuksesta. Colby-järvi on osa suurempaa Saranac-järven yhteisöä, joka tarjoaa monia nähtävyyksiä, kuten patikointia, lumihiihtoa, zip-linjoja, golfia ja hämmästyttävää ruokaa. Tämä mökki on myös kahden minuutin kävelymatka yleiselle rannalle ja veneiden käyttöön.
Mökki on 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Mt Pisgahista, jossa ystävät ja perhe voivat nauttia laskettelusta ja lumilautailusta.

Kerro meille, jos haluat varata useamman kuin yhden hytin. Meillä on 3 muuta hyttiä: Bear (2 sänkyä), Fish (yksi sänky, yksi kylpy) ja Loon (yksi vuode, yksi kylpy) käytettävissä yhdelle suurelle ryhmälle. Kaikki 4 mökkiä nukkuvat 20 hengelle.

Saranac-järven kylässä on upeat ruokalajit, pubit ja kahvilat. Colby Cabins on noin 1 kilometrin päässä Mt. Pisgah, jossa koko perhe voi nauttia laskettelu-, letku- ja lumilautailusta. Saranac-järveä ympäröivät itärannikon kauneimmat retkeilyreitit. Colby-järvi tunnetaan erinomaisesta kalastuksesta: sateenkaaresta ja taimenesta, lohesta, suurimmista ja pienistä bassoista. Tähän järvelle voidaan käyttää enintään 10 hv moottoria.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Adirondack Park (puisto). Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi porealtaan. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja poreammeen.

Saranac Lake Winter Carnival 2025
This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. We had camp fires lake side at night and wrapped the weekend with a Superbowl party! All in all a great winter trip. Would love to come back in the Summer too. The site was great and so close to our friends staying at this group on cabins which was very convenient to walk back and forth next door. Great communication with the property owner and easy check in and out. All in all a wonderful experience!

The property was great. The cabin had everything that you could want.Colby lake was great for fishing. The only problem was the property was too close to RT 86. It certainly was not a quiet location. The light from the electric company on Rt 86 came on at 6:30 and were on all night.

Amazing cottage, wonderful views, listened to a loon every morning. Would definitely return. Close to Lake Placid to finalize wedding plans. Actually bought an oil painting of the rowboat by a dock that reminded us of our view and stay.

Wonderful lakeside cabin
We had a lovely 3-day stay. The cabin is beautiful and the pictures represent it well. The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again.

An Adirondack gem
Loved everything about this spot. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We were able to ride our snowmobiles across Lake Colby to the trail. Great accommodations, gorgeous kitchen, and beautiful views through the huge picture windows. Will definitely book again.

Peaceful Getaway
The cabin was just right…all the supplies you need, all the comfort you need, and all the activities to keep the family entertained. We loved being able to just step outside and enjoy the lake, whether fishing, boating, reading a book in the hammock, or a chilly night time fire. All of the necessities are within a 7-minute drive (groceries, pharmacy supplies, restaurants, gas, etc.), and in just a short 20-minute drive, you can be in Lake Placid. The owners were responsive to our questions and proved clear instructions for check-in and out, as well as clear instructions for how to use everything in the cabin and to access local resources. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings
We had a nice time in the area. Cabin was well equipped. The view is awesome. You do get a little road noise when sitting outside, but the short distance to the road is nice if you want to do things in the area. Floors do slant, which made it a bit more difficult for my 74 and 83 year old parents. Cabin was a little dusty/cobwebby in the corners, but main areas were very clean and appealing. We loved all the toy and decorative moose in the cabin. (Note: If taxidermy bothers you, this isn't the place for you.)

Great stay
It was a beautiful location and the owner made sure everything was available in case we forgot something. It was nice to be able to get in the car and drive to some great restaurants within a couple of minutes. My only negative comment is that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Very lovely property! The cabin was just adorable, very clean and well stocked will everything you need. Gorgeous view of the lake to relax by the fire pit. Our host and her staff were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Amazing Stay!!
Moose Cabin was the perfect getaway for me, my wife, and our pup! There are hundreds of hiking trails within a short driving distance, Lake Placid is super close, and not to mention the cabin itself! It's very spacious and has everything you need. Right on the lake, we were able to take full advantage of the shared canoes, and our personal fire pit, and hammock! 10/10 would recommend!

What a wonderful Christmas we had on Saranac Lake. The cabin was beyond our expectations. So beautiful, wonderfully designed and a fantastic kitchen. The property manager was very accommodating and friendly. We had a Christmas tree and even red tablecloths. We would return for sure.

Perfect location while visiting family in the area. Moose cabin was warm and had a wonderfully stocked kitchen. An added bonus- we saw a couple of otters multiple times swimming in the lake!
