Acorn Lodge on ainutlaatuinen, mukava ja kaunis koti poissa kotoa. Olemme täydellisiä perhejuhliin, kokouksiin, kokouksiin, retriitteihin, yrityskonferensseihin, käsityöhön, joogaan, hengellisiin, opintoryhmiin, luontoretkille, melontaan ja melontaan, rentoutumiseen joen varrella, talvivaelluksille ja monelle muulle. Olemme luonnonsuojelualue. Kuuntele lintuja, sammakoita, pöllöjä ja lempeää tuulta puiden läpi. Pehmeä taustamusiikki rentoutuessasi ulkona on hienoa. Ja tuo esiin akustiset kitarasi ja laula nuotion ympärillä.

Kaunis jokivaellus vie sinut metsän läpi ja nousee sulavan joen yksinäisyyteen. Löydät keittiön liesituulettimella ja kiertoilmauunilla, aamiaisenurkkauksen ja jopa olohuoneen, jossa on hissipöytä kannettavalle tietokoneellesi ja kahvia. Nukkua takalla yöllä.

Herätyskello on auringonnousu puiden läpi. Naapurit ovat hirvieläimet, pöllöt ja villi kalkkunat. Aikataulu on kehosi kello. Maalliset huolet ovat pilvien ulkopuolella.

Wedding get ready location
This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. Highly recommend this stay for large groups! the guys to get ready downstairs while we had hair and makeup done upstair

Excellent Labor Day Weekend Bachelor Party
My fiancée and I had a combined bachelor party at the house with our bridal party. The house was spacious with lots of activities and the property was beautiful. Robert was a very communicative host.

Annual Ladies Golf Trip
Our group enjoyed the spacious accommodations for our annual golf trip. The large dining area was put to good use for meals and games after golfing at nearby courses. I will keep the Acorn Lodge in mind for other group getaways!

Very Gracious Host!!
Robert was attentive, he even took photos of our large family! Lovely, lovely home and trails. But unfortunately there were many mosquitoes during our visit, so we were unable to fully enjoy the outside features.

Family vacation
We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed getting the whole family together, and my two young nieces had a blast. There was plenty of room for the whole family. We loved the large kitchen and huge kitchen table for big family meals. We also loved the outdoors, although we didn't make as much use of them as we hoped since the mosquitos were pretty aggressive. We all said we would love to return in the fall when the bugs are more dormant so we can enjoy more of the outdoors at this rental! The hosts were very kind and communicative. Bob stopped by one day to see how we were doing.

Wonderful time for a birthday celebration!
We had a lovely time at Acorn Lodge! Bob was very easy to work with and had excellent communication skills. The location was comfortable and fit all 14 of us well. We loved the trails and the rustic feel of the outdoors.

We gathered friends and family from across multiple states to ring in the new year and found Acorn Lodge to be the perfect place to do so at. The Perfect Cabin
5 stars is not enough for this beautiful property! The Acorn Lodge offered everything we needed for a successful Halloween Weekend Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the cozy atmosphere of the cabin. The attention to detail and the thoughtfulness put into every aspect of our stay truly made it a memorable and enjoyable experience. A couple of family members walked the trail for some extra excitement. We are already looking forward to our next visit and the opportunity to experience your hospitality once more.

Couples getaway
The 10 of us get together for a long weekend every year, this was a great place for us. Our weather wasn't the best for hiking the trails but we hiked them anyway. The house was wonderfully appointed, with plenty of sleeping space, seating and a well stocked kitchen. Super clean.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, perfect in every way
From the moment we began communicating with Bob and Linda they were kind, pleasant, quick to respond, and so accommodating. Our family of 13 gathered for our annual vacation and this home was the most beautiful and perfectly suited than any other property. To say they thought of everything is an understatement! The house was clean, cool, and Bob and Linda greeted us to give us a tour and show us how to work different areas of the house. The lights, air, sauna to name a few. The grounds were so beautiful- we enjoyed trips to the River house, to see the neighbors horses, and visit the tree house. Thankfully they were thoughtful enough to place bottles of bug spray all along the way, somehow knowing their guest may need it! There is plenty of seating inside and out, has a covered area to grill and a surprising bed swing in a screened porch. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home, property, and entrusting us to care for it as if it were our home.

The host is terrific! He was extremely helpful during pre-trip planning, and available during the trip. The house and grounds are even better than we expected based on the pictures, just beautiful. House was clean and well stocked. If you're looking for a great get away in a rural area, this is for you!

The property was beautiful house was spacious plenty of room to spread out. Loved the tree house and trails. Fire pit was nice and large to accommodate all. Patio area was large. Swing was a big hit. We did find the kitchen was not as clean as expected. Limited cookware. Overall very nice will. Would come back

Second Retreat
Our group was returning here for our second retreat from a nearby university. It was very good for relaxing for the weekend, with great trails, a relaxing sauna, and ample space for board games.

Great club retreat in Lapeer
We’re so glad that Bob was able to host our student org for a weekend retreat. This was our first experience running a retreat, and everything ran smoothly thanks to Bob’s support and open communication. Beautiful property with amazing amenities, highly recommend!!
