Unsanitary and unsafe
The owner will refute my review by saying that we stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately, with a total of 16 people it would have been an impossible task to move. This house is in terrible disrepair and an illegal short term rental. *unsafe-removed smoke detectors, no fire extinguisher, no carbon monoxide detector, loose tiles on stairways, no handrails on a staircase*house not ready at check in. At check out-a cleaning person let herself into the house 45 mins prior to check out*the towels were wet, old and dirty(we purchased new ones)*the dining room chairs were broken and unsafe, replaced with wooden stools that did not fit under the table*the bathrooms were not stocked,a few lucky guests were provided soap/body wash*one of the dishwashers was broken, we were not notified of this beforehand*visible water damage and/or mold in the bedrooms. One causing a cold water drip from the ceiling onto the bed beneath*a deadbolt on the outside of one of the bedrooms. Bedroom door looked as if it has been kicked in on a previous visit*pool and hot tub-not working, filthy and unsanitary*broken towel rods in bathrooms*a bathroom was out of order, not notified beforehand*overflowing garbage dumpster in the front yard as you arrive*garbage, used cups, full ashtrays in the yard from the previous guests*kitchen cabinets are broken down,not stocked, mismatched random glassware, cups and plates. Dirty, hair on utensils,grill filthy. This house is NOT as listed. DO NOT RENT
