While the overall stay was Okay and the free parking is a great thing, the check-in line was too long and extremely slow. They have long line of counters; yet, only 3-4 people were working to check in for a huge line, and each check-in took more than 10 min to complete (someone took 20-30 min to complete the check-in for one customer). There was a manager like guy standing behind the counter but did nothing to increase the customer service. They should have more people to help the check-in. There are a few self-check in machines, but was told that they are dead. This was the first impression about the hotel, which was unfortunately a bad one.

After standing in a line for one hour at 1am, we were told they were oversold and because we were only there for one night they could not accommodate us. Do not go to Vegas late on a Friday night because no one honors a reservation for rental cars or hotel stays. I tried to avoid this by calling ahead and telling them that we would be arriving late and the reservation agent was pleasant and told us it would be fine. I have worked in the hotel business and know how things work but flying in and being denied a rental car then a hotel room in the early morning hours only to have to Uber around in desperation of a place to stay is awful. Lesson learned. In the end we were “walked” to the Strat.

Bathroom was a bit rundown but clean. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Free parking on site and has a free monorail to Luxor and Excaluber. We did not use the pool or facilities during this stay.
