Welcome to the Leontyne house of Cottage Row. Leontyne is the fourth house of Cottage Row and is located in Historic Downtown Laurel. It's within walking distance to many shops, eateries, The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, and Gardiner Park. The Leontyne Cottage is inspired by shades of blues and yellows, this cozy cottage is pure sunshine, sweet as honey and bright as lemonade.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and full closet in each room. The bathroom includes a tub with custom tile shower. There is a full kitchen stocked with all the cooking essentials. The living area has a cozy sectional for curling up and relaxing. A hall closet provides a washer and dryer stackable unit should you need them during your stay. The outdoor private sitting area is perfect for enjoying the beautiful Mississippi evenings.

If your party exceeds the guest limit, check out the rest of the row: Gardiner, Pinehurst, Mason, Leontyne, Daphne and Euclid.

Cute cottage in convenient location.
Very comfortable cottage. Convenient location. Parking right outside the front door. Lovely furnishings. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the ease of access to all the sights and activities. Would recommend to future visitors. Host made the stay a pleasure.

Disappointed
The cottage is charming and pictures are accurate. However, this property is located in a little less desirable edge of town. An industrial site is directly across the street and for 2 females we felt a little uneasy after dark. The host was prompt to answer questions when we contacted him during our stay. Unfortunately, we weren't confident the cottage had been cleaned after the previous guests. Toilet had pink ring in the bowl, the furniture was dusty and the beds didn't have that nice "freshly made" feel to them. Either the linens hadn't been changed or the person making the beds did so with very little effort or attention to detail. Either way it left us with doubts. Unfortunately we didn't have any other option but to stay our 2 nights as planned. After checking out the host contacted me and asked for feedback. Apparently he only wanted praise, he never replied to my response, quite disappointing.

Perfect cottage for our quick trip in and out of Laurel!
We needed a place to lay our heads and then spend a half day in Laurel as we traveled through to Tuscaloosa. The cottage was perfect for us! We had a special parking issue (hauling a trailer)and there was plenty of room.

Adorable Cottage In Lovely Laurel!
Leontyne Cottage is a perfectly appointed adorable cottage and in a great location to explore Laurel. Recently renovated and not a thing was missed in making our stay comfortable. The only regret we had was not staying longer! Will made everything very smooth from check in to check out. We would definitely stay here again!

lauren for birthday celebration week
the only negative was the house was across the street from an industrial business ie old mill area. i would add a handle bar to the bathtub so it’s easier to get in and out. i would also get a bigger lamp for living space so you don't have to use overhead lights. beds were comfortable and nicely decorated.

As Nice in Person as the Listing
We were delighted to find our cottage to be as charming as described in the listing. It was well furnished and very comfortable, lacking nothing. Everything was in good working order Just minutes from the bustling downtown, with everything from shops and snacks to great places to dine. Drive a few minutes to visit the Lauren Rodgers Museum and the lovely historical homes that surround the museum. The cottage was a comfy resting spot after a day of shopping and sight seeing prior to checking in, and before a nice dinner at a local eatery downtown. Perfect combination of fun and rest. We will stay here again the next time we come through Laurel.
