Nice place to stay while skiing
Close to Terry Peak Ski Areas so we were able to just come back to warm up and eat at noon. Kind of a steep hill going down to property and is absolutely fine with a 4x4 but wouldn't take a car there in the winter. Parked my daughters car in Lead for the stay. The roads were snow packed which was to be expected in the winter but got around fine with 4 wheel drive.

Worked well for 4 couples 4 wheeling trip!
Pros: All 8 could get around the table for games at night. Took us awhile to figure out the dimming switch for the lights over the table. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture was comfortable. Deck had enough chairs for everyone and was shady in the later afternoon as it was warmer than normal. Cons: Grills were dirty and cover was off- we did not use or need either one. Both sets of steps were treacherous, wife missed bottom step going to basement and had ER visit. Nothing broke. Steps are steep/shallow and were extra careful after fall. 1 tried hottub, but smelled and gritty around inside of tub. Other than that, did not use. Washer was full of wet clothes and dryer was full of dry clothes, so we were not sure cleaner was done when we arrived, but beds were done, so we moved in. Patio screen door kept coming off track, basement bedroom door off of tracks. House could use some maintenance and pictures on ad look way better than actual. Nothing major, just some upkeep. Paint peeling, rain gutters coming off. Overall, we had a great time, great location for 4 wheeling the area, which we do a couple times a year.

Great Place to Get Away
The property was great! A perfect Black Hills getaway with a beautiful view and just a short drive to Deadwood. We had a rainy day during our stay and the place offers plenty of fun activities to spend a day in and get quality time with family and friends. Plenty of places to sleep and a great outdoor porch area to spend time.

It was ok. with potential.
We made it work and it was fine. I would suggest the owners fix up a few the issues..like sliding screen door and I fixed the cupboard by the sink on my own. May have to spray for Ants as I was bitten during the night. It just looked like it was neglected as a home and it could be an absolutely wonderful place. I don't plan to post anything but hope the owners look at my thoughts.

Lead is a gem
The house is great! Our favorite places in Lead; a coffee shop named Lotus Up, Dakota Shivers Brewing, and Miners and Merchants for shopping. Spearfish is only a short drive away and offered hiking trails, fly fishing, and beautiful scenery. Nothing was too far away. The stay was a nice refreshing break from the everyday.

UTV trail riding with friends
We had a few hiccups when we first arrived which were resolved after a few hours. The house worked well for 4 couples as everyone was able to have their own private room. BEAUTIFUL deck for morning coffee and evening laughs! Just and FYI - Narrow roads & many turns to get to house if you are hauling trailers. We did have to reload our UTVs at another location just down the road.

We stayed with 2 families for skiing. The owner communicated extremely well, before and during the stay. Property was very clean and comfortable. Great hot tub and great location. Would highly recommend.

Overall a nice place
Overall a nice place, No response to e-mails (not sure why they list it) fast response to phone call. Upon arriving (850 miles on motorcycle), dirty refrigerator, glasses struck to shelf in cabinet, handle on refrigerator broke. Wash machine didn't work and hot tub had dirt and smelt musty. Internet did not work. Vrbo add shows a pool table which isn't level and only 1 pool good cue to share, There was a dart board but no usable darts, Foosball table but no balls. Discussed with owner and believe most of these issues would be corrected (he even offered to have someone come in that week, but we were not interested in being disturb and used it as is). A little disappointed!!! for the price paid that some of the amenities advertise were not in good work order. I was offered a discount on my next trip but have no plans of returning to the area. My first time using Vrbo...

Not worth the money
We rent from VRBO almost every where we go because we love a home feel and the convinces of a laundry and kitchen. The washer was broken the whole week we were there, so no laundry. The kitchen pots and pans were not suitable to use. The grill was filthy and unusable. The handle fell of the freezer with the first use. The upstairs bathroom has urine on the walls and the whole place needed a deep clean. It really needs a facelift from the interior paint that’s dinged around the doorways to the patio umbrella that was ripped and very faded. We paid twice as much as most units we usually rent because we wanted something extra nice for our family to enjoy together. It was barely just ok. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, we debated to leave this one but I wish we would have known what we were getting for that price!

This property was lovely. It was clean, everything was well organized and easy to use.
I had made a mistake with my booking and the property owner was not only understanding, but he was patient and kind. This was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the black hills. One thing I would’ve liked to know is how steep the stairs are, because these were a little dangerous for a 3 year old. Overall we absolutely loved the property, the location, the hot tub and the experience. Thanks for sharing this property with us!

Nice location near Terry Peak, clean facilities, owner did an excellent job of returning my calls to answer questions. Our grandkids enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Our only complaint was it was difficult to keep all 3 levels at a comfortable temperature. The basement was too hot, and a couple of the bedrooms would get cold at night, even after setting the thermostats.

Perfect!!!
We had a family of 7 and there was more than enough room. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and all the board games available in the pool room. We also enjoyed the spa in the evening and the kitchen was stocked with everything a normal kitchen would have which was very beneficial, since we cooked many meals. We even used the crock pot one day. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful summer trip.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Well equipped with enough towels, pillows, blankets, kitchen cooking utensils. In a neighborhood with beautiful sites to hike around right out your door. We enjoyed having the hot tub to use after a long day of hiking and seeing the sites. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

We had a lot of trouble contacting Evolve. It was very inconvenient: The money was taken from my account almost immediately one month before and a confirmation was sent. But after that, no one contacted me. I patiently waited until 24 hours out. Call after call gave me the run-around. Finally, while en route and only four hours away, we were able to make contact. Hopefully, the conduit between VRBO and Evolve needs to improve. It shouldn't have been that difficult. I am praying that others do not have this same issue. The property itself, was awesome! We couldn't have asked for anything more.
