Few issues
There were issues with staying at the Pondok Jenggala. The room was outright dirty, aircon was not working, few times the hot water boiler was not working, and the internet in the rooms died down. Its usually ok when they try to fix the issues when notified, but on this resort I got answers like "just use the internet in the cafeteria", or "cannot change the room to a working aircon room because the cleaning lady has already left home" -Even thou loads of staff present and the resort completely empty. Aircon, hot water and internet are those things that you are ready to pay some extra, right?
They did offer me to change the room on the next day but i didn't really need the aircon in the end because its little cooler on the rainy season, and few days later they did fix the internet too. Basically just felt that guests were not appreciated fully, and what seemed more like a management problem. When checking out they wanted to charge me for a bill from the restaurant that never happened. I understand mistakes can happen and the bill was waived.
On a positive note, its a nice location, breakfast is ok and their pool is nice.
