Centrally situated hotel for ski lovers
In this hotel the young and service minded staff really tries its best to get the customer feel welcome and "home". I spent one sunny Mars week skiing stayed at the hotel. Payed extra for breakfast. Payed no visit to the hotel's spa area though it was included in the room price.
To sum up the pros:
- large and airy room with a semi long hair full carpet (that was kept clean daily).
- beds match what one expect from a four star hotel
- a high standard french type breakfast buffet
- magnificent location in the village and for skiing as it is directly at the slope
- excellent spacious, functioning and clean ski/boot locker area
- a huge sun terrace that is divided nicely into different areas
- hotel guest get 20% off when hiring skies etc. from the shop by the hotel entrance.
The cons:
- rooms facing the village must stand the shouting of the lively nightlife people
- the wi-fi username and psw must be renewed at the reception daily
- the wi-fi is unstable and I had daily difficulties in the breakfast area
- the elevator seemed to irritate lot of customers. In a 4store building you waited often 3-5 minutes or more before it came. No intelligence in the elevator system or information as you wait on any floor.
- small details on the service /cleaning level do not immediately irritate but are a bit annoying
The over all impression is a hotel trying really hard to stand up to the fourth star and to have customers coming back.
