I was required to pay an additional $600 deposit solely based on my city of residence, while other cities in the same county are not even on that list. Although I understand the need for a reasonable deposit or credit card details to cover potential theft or damages, this requirement feels unnecessary for our situation. We are a mid-40s mother and her son on the spectrum seeking shelter due to a family emergency on Christmas night. As a result, I had to book and pay for a room at another hotel and then call Expedia to request the cancellation of our reservation at the Quality Inn and a refund on the night we were supposed to check in. It's crucial that this issue is brought to light. I will be reaching out to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission and the Better Business Bureau to intervene and address these discriminatory practices. I have the list that was posted as well as receipts for the rentals and cancelation.

The property was in decent shape for the price of the stay. However, upon arrival we were informed that we had to pay a $600 deposit. We were already booked andnpaid through Expedia, so we couldnt cancel. This deposit needs ro be communicated clearly and shouldnt just be sprung on people.

Very disappointed!!!
My experience at this hotel was awful! The first room I was given had a disgusting mess in the toilet. They moved me to another room where the floor was not cleaned, there were giant dust balls on the ceiling, the sink did not drain, there were hairs in the tub and an old blood stain on the comforter.
