Oceanfront Studio-No stairs-Full Kitchen-Fireplace

No. 118 at D Sands Condominiums is a ground floor, privately owned studio condo we call Coral Fixation . Located in a south building that was added onto the property after the construction of the original building, the front door of this condo offers parking lot level access on the highway side, but guests can enjoy a breathtaking ocean and beach view from a private balcony on the ocean-side of the condo.

Coral Fixation can sleep up to 3 people on a comfortable queen bed and twin futon. This condo also has a gas fireplace so that you can enjoy a cozy stay on even the rainiest of Oregon Coast s days. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, and there s also a loveseat for enjoying the view through a wall of windows.

Coral Fixation also comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, drip coffee maker, and microwave, and a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo.

The Unit of Association Owners, our HOA, provides Wi-fi and cable TV throughout the complex, and an indoor pool. D Sands Condominiums also features its own easy and private beach access so that guests can take full advantage of our oceanfront location and play in the sand and surf.

Centrally located in the middle of Lincoln City, D Sands Condominiums is an easy walk to Kyllo s, Lincoln City s favorite restaurant on the beach, a wine bar, Chinese food and so much more. A quick car ride can take you to the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Outlets, not to mention all the other fun dining, shopping, and activity destinations in town.

If you walk 15-20 minutes on the beach to the north, you will find natural tidepools with all kinds of sea life. Or stay a little closer to home, and take in one of the most famous rivers in the world, the D River, the shortest river on the planet. The D River State Recreation Area is adjacent to the property, and provides even easier access to the beach in the form of a gradual slope. We re also conveniently close to a variety of other recreation areas and hiking trails for the avid nature lover.

Room was clean. Bedspread had holes in it. Both doors allowed the wind to blow thru room. Parking was challenging. Water pressure bad, little hot water for showers.

We spent Thanksgiving break in Lincoln City. The property is the perfect size for 2 people. We loved the ocean view and the fireplace. The full size stove and refrigerator were an added bonus for us. We will definitely visit again.

Few days away!
Our stay was amazing and very relaxing. We had a small issue whith the cable tv not working, but it honestly just made our stay better, by allowing for more time without the distraction of electronics, and D sands was very helpful with the issue. I would recommend staying there to everyone i know.

Beautiful Birthday Getaway
This was the perfect getaway for my birthday week! I was prepared for cold rainy weather and it ended up sunny all the days I was there. The experience was wonderful! Beautiful ocean view getaway. Good space, usable kitchen and cozy fireplace. Only main negative comment is that the toilet in this particular unit had a very, very stuff flushing mechanism. Overall, would definitely stay again for location and view alone.

Anniversary trip
We had a great time here. The property was exactly as described in the listing. A beautiful view and it’s right on the beach. I do agree with another review I read that said there was lack of a few things in the kitchen. We cooked all our meals there and I did have to pick up a casserole dish as there was no way to bake anything in the oven. I’d suggest maybe adding a larger frying pan too. Parking is a big issue. If you’re not lucky enough to get back early enough to get the uncovered parking it could be a real problem for you. Parking under the awning/building is extremely tight. Hardly any room to maneuver. A poor lady parking near us actually hit her Subaru wagon on the pillar trying to park. If you have a large vehicle you can forget about parking under there. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and thankfully it barely fit. We plan to come back again as the issues it has are honestly very minor. For anyone reading this I can tell you exactly what’s in the kitchen so you know if you need to bring something with you. 2 small frying pans, 2 small pots, a cookie sheet, a broiling pan, a toaster, 4 large plates, 4 small plates, 4 small bowls, and coffee cups, 4 different spices, salt and pepper, some cooking oil, some plastic wrap, forks, knifes, spoons, a liquid measure cup, a cutting board, a large cutting knife, 1 spatula, a serving spoon, and a set of metal tongs and 2 oven mitts. Also a full size coffee pot with a few filters. The price is extremely fair as it was even cheaper than hotels in the area and in my opinion much nicer than most especially considering you’re right on the beach. We loved it.

Hot tub down still
The only thing that we didn't like was that we were not told that the Hot Tub was still in disrepair. Very disappointed, since I had read previous reviews and had thought after that amount of time it would be up and running. We loved the property, the view, but wish big rigs wouldn't have taken up all the parking. Thank you so much, and we definitely would love to come back again. (When the hot tub is available.)
