Missed the mark
Misha’s place showed so much promise. My wife and I arrived on a late flight to Lisbon and advised the property of our 9pm check in time. After arriving and traveling throughout the day, all we wanted to do was unpack and rest for the next day. The apartment was so stuffy and the A/C had been left off. We turned on the A/C and hoped it would cool down quickly. The apartment never cooled down. I reached out the next morning and advised that the A/C was not cooling the apartment, then we left for the day. The response that I got was “did you manage to cool it down.” I responded and let them know that it was not cooling. We had 2 days at Misha’s place and wanted to enjoy restful sleep so that we could explore the city. It was so uncomfortable and we felt a true lack of care.
I shared my experience with the management team and was told that I should have called their after hours number to let them know that the A/C still wasn’t working. This should not be the guest that has to constantly follow up after clearly communicating.
Reading the sites details, Misha’s place manages several rentals and speaks of their love for travelers, the welcoming team that manages, and their willingness to ensure that their guests are taken care of. Not the case for us. Two nights of no sleep and miserable heat in our accommodations is not acceptable.
