Not Soundproof as Advertised
This is a cardboard box disguised as a beautiful hotel in a not-great area of Lisbon. The rooms are clearly advertised as soundproofed and this claim is entirely false. The hotel is on a very busy street and the street noise is definitely audible from the room at all hours. Worse though, is the noise from the interior. I was unlucky and there was a group of young men partying in the hotel during my stay and they caused a ruckus until 2 and 3am. I heard every note of their music, their yelling, their incessant knocking and every ding of the elevator as they rode it up and down at all hours. If my room was soundproof as I was led to believe, this would not have been an issue and my two days in Lisbon would not have been negatively affected by lack of sleep. I’m so disappointed in this hotel and stay. While the front desk staff apologized for the noise and told the noisy guests to keep it down (which they did not), it was much too little too late. On top of all of this, the neighbourhood is really not the best (more unsavoury than unsafe) and pretty out of the way (although the metro is virtually right out the door). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would never stay here again.

The reception was extremely helpful. The room comfortable and very modern. The bathroom was a bit quirky. The restaurant had a great breakfast and was also good for dinner.

The best hotel I think I’ve ever stayed in, electric curtains and blinds, very clean and tidy, Jessica on check in was very helpfully, my family stayed at a different hotel down the road and all wished they stayed here. Definitely would stay here again without a doubt. The hotel is very clean breakfast has a good choice l, bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms, fruit, cheese, Ham, toast, coffee machine, juices, water, pastries ect.

Room is for one, but they have made it a twin. Cramped. Limited space for 2nd person. Nowhere to hang wet towels. Do not change bedding on cleaning days, scheduled for every couple days. Must insist by going to front desk. No stationary. Charged more on site than what Expedia said to expect (a tax).

This is a good 4 star hotel. Room was nicely furnished, comfortable, and quiet; coffee machine and small free minibar a nice touch. The hotel is well located and restaurant food was good. Couldn't give five stars as our carpet needed a proper wash and the breakfast was only average. Changing the coffee machine and having a better selection of cold meats and cheeses would go a long way towards rectifying this.

The property is excellent, but in a run down neighborhood. Apart from the hotel restaurants there are very few around. I would take the metro ride in and out of town everyday. Which became a hassel.

The hotel is in lovely condition and very plush. The rooms are very comfortable lovely design and excellent clean. However it was a little too over designed for us - you press a button for everything! And felt sometimes that over design was not practical ( no light in the bathroom - the switch is by the exit door - not great for nighttime visits) With the minimal look in reception too it felt it lacked some warmth. Bar area and bar manager was the best! So friendly and interested in our day - remembering our drinks, answering our questions - it was a comfortable area to sit and relax. None of this spoiled the visit and we would recommend the hotel - depending on your speed - 20 min walk to the main squares but the metro is also just outside the hotel. The 28 tram goes past the hotel and stops just round the corner and it’s about 20 mins from the airport.

This property was better than I expected based on the reviews about the staff. The young lady that checked us in was so nice and very helpful. She was even able to get housekeeping to make our twin room into a single bed even though we checked in late due to our flight delay. She also gave us recommendations for food and things to do in the area. I’m so mad at myself for not remembering her name. The morning staff wasn’t overly friendly but they weren’t rude. The room was small but comfortable for 2 ppl. My husband and I was not in each others way at all. The room was immaculate I’ve never felt this comfortable in a hotel that isn’t the Four Seasons or Intercontinental. I’m not a snob hotels just trigger all of my little anxieties but this place was great. I would go back to Lisboa just to stay here that’s how much I loved it.
