Scarlet Ridge - 6BR/3BA - walking distance to Old Man's Cave

Scarlet Ridge is a deluxe 6BR/3BA cabin built in 2022 on 25 wooded acres less than 1 mi. walk to Old Man's Cave. Enjoy the wooded outdoors around the fire pit with your family and friends. Relax in the hot tub or on our deck after a long day's hike. Scarlet Ridge offers luxury amenities in our log cabin. You'll be able to prepare and enjoy meals together while sitting at our large dining table. There are many activities for all ages including tvs with Directv and dvd players, a variety of dvds, a pool table, board games, fire pit, and a corn hole game. We try to make it cozy so you'll feel like home. We also own Vrbo 1932287, 1883965,1938288, 2963411 & 3060533 (Property certificate #00358) The base rate includes up to 8 guest and each additional person is $25/night.

Weekend retreat
The scarlet ridge cabin was so beautiful and very clean we had 5 couples and had a great weekend . The owner communicated throughout our stay and even had the rusts plowed to help us (it had snowed)z so close to old man’s cave.

Great Family Weekend
We took our six kids and three significant others plus three grandparents for our Christmas celebration. We had a fabulous time! Scarlet Ridge was everything promoted online and more - gorgeous views, perfect amenities and great location. Plus Julie was so responsive and easy to work with.

Second Stay
This was our second year in a row staying at Scarlet Ridge and it does not disappoint. Our family and friends all had the best time. The living area is so spacious and makes it a great place to gather and play games. The location is great in relation to all the hiking. We look forward to this trip every year!

Gorgeous Cabin for Girls' Getaway
The cabin was fantastic and spacious! It is a new build and has great amenities. Loved being able to walk down to Hocking Hills visitor center instead of driving. It is so quiet and peaceful, nice and far from the road as well. We will definitely be returning! Can't recommend this cabin enough.

Amazing place!!
We are a large family with mixed mobility and age ranges. Scarlet Ridge was wonderful for everyone! The seniors were comfortable in the main floor bedroom and on the spacious covered deck. The adults and kids were close enough to the Old Man's Cave trail to walk there and spend the days exploring. The house was spotless!!! And the beds were very comfortable.

Everything in one
Views, space, location, accommodations, and amenities. A lot of room for the kids to move around. No sacrifices as this has everything. Short distances to hiking, groceries, and yet you are surrounded by forest and hills. The owners are easy to communicate with and very responsive. A wonderful week and looking forward to returning.

Check in was easy and well communicated. House was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family gathering. Love the large porch and close fire pit. Juli was easy to reach out to. Great location, near all the hocking hills hiking. Apple Maps doesn’t get you exactly there, but good directions were given ahead of time to circumvent this. Surprisingly not buggy, even though smack in the middle of lots of woods. Would stay here again.

Great Space
Beautiful lodge,clean inside and out,only need to bring food and drinks,fire wood and charcoal for grill. A/C was great(it was 90+all three days). Hocking Hills State Park is absolutely amazing. Bring good footwear as there are many hiking trails some moderate some difficult. Bring friends,family,and a good attitude and you won’t regret your trip.

Prefect for large group
We had an amazing time for our girls trip. We were a group of ten and it was perfect. Most of us walked to and from the trail head of Old Man’s Cave and easy drive to other trials. It felt secluded enough with all the trees and still close to other things to do. Would recommend this beautiful house for sure, you will be very pleased with your stay and surroundings.

Beautiful place secluded in the Hocking Hills forest.
This was a beautiful home located in the gorgeous Hocking Hills area of Ohio just a mile from Old Man's Cave, and minutes drives to many other caves and Hocking Hills features. The house was large and beautiful with very well outfitted kitchen and extra refrigerator/freezer space downstairs. The porches are covered and large so we could sit outside and enjoy the natural sounds when a rain shower came through. Very nice fire pit and hot tub as well. And we all had fun playing pool in the walkout basement area. We celebrated my nieces graduation from Ohio University and we all enjoyed the stay sooooo much!!

We are a group of 10 women who graduated HS together. We come to HH every spring (but haven't been since covid). The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We hiked Old Man's Cave on Sat. The host is wonderful to work with and very accommodating. I would definitely come back to this cabin.

Loved our stay here. Wonderful inside and out. Open floor plan was great for gatherings. Appreciate the attention to detail like hooks and benches in the bedrooms, plenty of extra towels, and of course everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful home. Needed more time to enjoy all the amenities:)
