The room was the tiniest I have ever seen, but comfortable and clean. The en suite bathroom was also tiny, but spotlessly clean, it was a nice surprise as 1) I was expecting a shared bathroom and 2) it is hard to find a clean, mouldless bathroom in English hotels. The lady at the reception was nice, but she could have paid more attention to customer service. My room was on the top floor, room 509, so I dragged my bags up there, only to notice the room numbers ended at 508. I called the reception lady asking where my room was, and she said 'Oh you should have gone up through the other door'. Which other door??? She didn't mention 'the other door' initially. She told me to come back downstairs, so I dragged my bags downstairs and politely asked which door I should use - there were several doors to choose from. She didn't even look at me when she just repeated 'the other door'. So, I had to figure it out myself. Apparently, the house next door was also a part of the hotel, and there was this short corridor leading to the next building. And I had to drag my luggage to the top floor again. But, the location was excellent, very convenient and in a nice neigbourhood considering I needed to get up very early to catch a train. I most definitely will return to this hotel again. Great for people who don't like spending time in a hotel but just like a comfortable bed to sleep in. The price-quality ratio was excellent.
