We stayed in Queens Hotel for 5 nights. Friendly staff, easy access from Stansted Airport and city centre. Two nearby pubs were ok, grocery stores less than 5 mins walk from hotel, ATMs and fast food just down the street too.
Our room was on top floor, which was nice as there was literally silent at night - no street noise whatsoever. We didn't spend much time in our room, so overall it was big enough to sleep and get changed.
Some improvements could be useful, e.g. bigger bin in the room and even a small bin in the bathroom as there was no bin at all. Toilet paper is poor quality, shower drain was a bit blocked (but still acceptable) and water temperature in shower was boiling hot - 38 in the knob means "really hot".
The breakfast was ok - English including a few rashers of bacon, a fried egg and beans in tomato sauce. Continental breakfast was quite nice with croissants (not crispy), rolls, muesli, warm yoghurt and milk, cheese, ham, salami, some fresh fruit and juices.
Overall experience was good, might return some day. Would't book a family room on top floor if I was traveling with children or elderly people as there is a lot of stairs!
