I liked all the Christmas decorations and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was delicious! Our room had coffee that previously spilled down the wall, a piece of popcorn on the floor and some pieces of plastic on the floor from previous person. Did not understand the switching of a used mattress while we were in the room and why that couldn’t be placed before we arrived or after we left. But overall enjoyed our stay.

A lovely 2 night break
Service was.excellent throughout our stay. Our server in the breakfast area was a lovely lady and I am only sorry I did not catch her name. Jeff on reception was a real star and mansges to find a room.early as I was feeling unwell. Room service was impeccable and the food we ate in our room deliciouus. The only small niggle was that the larger bed was zip lock and Carl was uncomfortably aware of the join.

The main issue is that one of the hotel's two elevators is not working resulting in long waits for an elevator and this has been an issue for months. There is a fair amount of deferred maintenance on doors and furniture that is disappointing and could be easily resolved with paint! The service was great though, but I would not stay there again.

This property is a true disgrace to the Taj name. It was filthy. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone! Myself I will never stay there again. And I would be reluctant to stay at another Taj due to this terrible experience. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty. Food was the worst experience! Everything is bad

The property was average. The problem we had was the rooms. Upon check in they gave us a room with no window. The window was there it was blanked out with some film over it. I asked for a room with a window and they gladly moved us but the room was ridiculously small and not the quality we had paid for. I called the front desk again and they moved us for the third time. Finally the room was acceptable but for $800 a night the bed was horrible. My as well slept on cement. If you have any type of back problems I would definitely speak to them about the quality of the bed in advance. No comfort here. Limited sleep due to the comfort and the elevator was not working properly. The door had an issue closing. It would take a bit to get it closed. Only one elevator was available. The staff were very nice. Not worth the money though in my opinion. I would expect exceptional comfort and quality for $800 a night.

The hotel was beautiful. The check in wasn’t the best. We were ignored for a long while one of the staff members was showing something to another one on the computer, but we were never acknowledged. Another staff member pointed us to the person who should be assisting us, and still she didn’t say anything to us like sorry for the delay, it’s going to be a minute, or something. Then we were sent to be assisted by the person who was getting help from the other staff member. We checked in and she told us to get to our room crossing the court yard… she said our room was in a different building. We were sent on our own. We ended up going inside a different hotel. The people at the wrong hotel pointed us on the right direction. At the end, there was a way to get to our room through the hotel. We didn’t need to exit the property. Another guest staying at the property showed us where our room was located since he and his family were staying across our room. My family and I didn’t feel very welcomed by the staff. The hotel on the other hand is beautiful.

This property is old and service level is very poor, they don’t clean the rooms after 11am. This is nowhere close to the 5star and service you would expect from Taj Hotels.
