This is a good place to stay if you are solely looking for a place to sleep. It is a tiny room, but for the price I would expect nothing more and in my opinion it was not an issue. The location is great, close to the train and tube. The room was clean enough. There is no air conditioning and our window did not lock. We were on the upper floors, so it was not a problem but I would not want an open window on the lower floors. And when some people here say they can hear everything from the surrounding rooms and the hallway, I can also confirm this. It's an affordable hotel, which means during the weekend there will be people coming at night from bars etc. You need grade A earplugs to be able to sleep. Our curtains were fine and we did not have problems with light peaking through. I would not say the staff was particularly friendly, but not rude either.
