Upon entering through the grand foyer, you are greeted by an atmosphere of sophistication. Formal living and dining rooms are perfect for refined gatherings, while the chef’s kitchen stands as the heart of the home. It boasts a massive island, high-end appliances, and designer finishes, while the adjacent family room is anchored by a striking architectural staircase, perfect for both relaxation and hosting guests.
The resort-style backyard is an entertainer’s dream, offering the ultimate escape. With a sparkling pool and spa, a BBQ station with a wet bar, and meticulously manicured landscaping, this space serves as a private retreat. The first level also offers two en-suite bedrooms, a spacious laundry room, and multiple lounge areas that open effortlessly to the outdoor oasis.
Upstairs, a gallery-style hallway leads to three additional en-suite bedrooms, including the grand primary suite — a true retreat. This sanctuary features a private terrace, two custom walk-in closets, and a spa-inspired bathroom complete with dual water closets, a soaking tub, and a smart shower system with dual and rainfall shower heads, as well as steam capabilities.
In addition to the main residence, the property features an attached guest house where the owner's son resides. He is a respectful occupant, spending very little time at the residence, ensuring privacy for the homeowners. The guest house includes a private entrance, and the son uses street parking, never parking inside the gated area, offering full autonomy while maintaining the tranquility and privacy of the main estate.
Designed for an unparalleled lifestyle, this estate includes a Control4 home automation system, offering effortless control of lighting, climate, security, and entertainment. Move-in ready and meticulously crafted, this extraordinary residence offers an unmatched living experience in one of Tarzana's most coveted enclaves.
• The owners normally live on this property, and they gladly rent their house when they are not home. During your stay you will have the property for yourself and your guests - all we ask of you is to be respectful of the place and treat this house as it was your own, in respect of the house rules.
• Checkout time is 11am – our cleaning crew needs sufficient time to clean and get the house ready for the next guests or for the owners.
• Late checkout requests must be submitted in advance. We do our best to accommodate when possible. However, if you check out late without prior approval, a late checkout fee of $150 will be charged.
• Operating hours are from 11 AM to 8 PM. For any urgent matters outside these hours, please feel free to reach out. If your concern is not an emergency, we kindly ask for your patience until the next morning. Please rest assured that any issues will be promptly attended to and resolved the following day. You can contact us any time by phone, email. For non-urgent inquiries or concerns, you can also send us a message, and we will get back to you promptly the next day.
• Jacuzzi fee is charged for $50.
• Pool heating fee is charged for $250 for initially for 48 hours. After that $100 for each passing day is charged.
• There are working surveillance recording devices on property: indoor cameras are obscured for privacy – except during production and events. Outdoor cameras located in the backyard and perimetral areas of the house are operating at all times. Guests are not allowed to move or maneuver the cameras.
• No smoking allowed at any time inside the house and in the patio. If we find any smell or traces of smoke you’ll be subject to a $500 fine.
• No drugs.
• Please drink responsibly.
• Please be careful with furniture, décor and house items – some are pieces of design and we will charge for any damage. Use drink coasters and the provided table protector on the wood dining table – it’s a design piece that could easily get permanently stained..
- This is a quiet residential neighborhood – we ask our guests to keep noise at reasonable levels and respect quiet hours after 8pm. No exceptions. No amplified sound nor live music.
- Parties are NOT allowed. Breach of this rule will result in $4,000 fine and/or eviction.
- No unregistered/unannounced guests. Presence of unannounced/unauthorized visitors or guests is considered breach of the house rules and will result in extra penalty fees from $400 per guest and/or eviction. This is our home and all we ask is to be honest and open about your plans, and communicate with us!
• Filming, Photoshoots and production activities are welcome. Depending on the size and length of the event additional charges may apply. All productions (including small/student projects) must be approved with the host prior to booking. Unauthorized production will result in $4,000 fine and/or eviction.
• Do not remove any pool hoses, vacuums or other pool equipment from inside the pool as it can damage the pump /filter.
• Absolutely NO drinking in or by the pool. Use only plastic cups when outside. No pets in the pool. Kids must be under adult supervision at all times when in or by the pool. Kids who are not potty trained MUST wear waterproof diapers when in the pool. If any accident happens please contact the host immediately so that we can address asap. A pool requires maintenance and issues that are not addressed timely may cause bigger damage later.
• Pool heating: if desired we can arrange for the pool to be heated – fees apply as described in the listing details. Please reach out with your request at least 1 week before check-in as it takes up to 12-48hrs for the water to get to temperature, and we need to arrange for our team to operate the heater in advance.
• We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises.
• Although this is a very safe neighborhood, and we have operating outdoor cameras on premises, we are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables during your stay.
• If we find any item left behind we do our best to reach out and coordinate for restitution, but we are not responsible for your items.
• When leaving the house during your stay and when checking-out, please make sure to close and lock all the windows and doors, and switch off all the lights.
• Pets are welcome! If you plan on bringing pets please inform us before booking or at least 1 week before check-in as there is a surcharge. Usually it is $50 per pet per stay maximum 2 pets, depending on the type of pet and size.
• Please clean after your pet.
• The gardener comes once a week on Mondays, and the pool guy every Wednesday morning. They have access to the outdoor areas of the property. Guests are not entitled in any way to request extra services or deny them access to the property.
• We devotedly take care of our home, to keep it a peaceful and charming oasis. This is why there are house rules. If you break any of these rules you will be given a warning and fined $500. The second infraction will result in additional fines and immediate eviction from the property. We don’t want to sound too strict – we believe these are reasonable rules that can ensure an enjoyable and respectful stay for you, for the neighbors and for the guests who will come after you!
