Very convenient, clean location close to the airport. Couple of things that we did not like…. Pool was closed down without notice for more than half of our trip. Good breakfast but was just repetitive for an extended stay. Our washroom fan was constantly on - no way to shut it down. Bathroom water temp was not consistent - one minute it was really cold next burning hot, found it really irritating. Front desk generally had only one person working which ended up causing lineups majority of the time . Staff was ok not that friendly as one would expect from a Hilton.

We booked this hotel for our family as we had an overnight layover at LAX and we needed a convenient hotel with an airport shuttle. Well, the only run the shuttle until 11pm (we arrived at 11:15pm) and they only run the shuttle every 1.5 hrs during the day and the times were very inconvenient for our flights, unfortunately. An uber to this hotel cost our family of six $48 at night. The hotel felt dirty and the staff didn’t want to be there.

Great Hotel, Great Location.
This property had very good customer service. My 4 year old daughter lost her Mickey Mouse stuffed animal, and was upset that we might not be able to find him. The front desk agent checked lost and found for it, but no luck. After we left the front desk, he called around to check with the staff as to Mickey’s whereabouts. Fortunately, Housekeeping found him, and delivered him to us safe and sound. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was older, but refurbished. Hotel is super cool on the inside. Glass atrium indoor courtyard with turtles. The kids loved the turtles! The restaurant on property was delicious and a bit expensive. Breakfast was tasty. Airport Shuttle was very convenient for our family to catch our flight at LAX Great location to get to airport fast. About the only thing that’s not great is that there aren’t other restaurants close by. If you ‘re staying there without transportation, you’ll likely be eating in the hotel.

I have been staying at the Embassy suites south for over twenty years. Used to come when I had business with Raytheon or Boeing, I also come on Christmas to visit family in LA. Everything is consistently good. A couple minor issues with my last stay. 1) the TV in the living room of my suite didn't work. No problem, the one in the bedroom did. 2) The bathtub drain wouldn't close. To take a bath I had to use a piece of a plastic bag over the drain to keep the water running out. 3) When I checked out on the 28th I stopped by the front desk to get a copy of my receipt. The front desk clerk refused to give me a copy saying since it was paid through Expedia he couldn't give me one, I always get one to be sure my account is all paid. Finally, he grudgingly gave me one. He needs some training in courtesy, if he is going to represent the hotel at the front desk. One other note, parking is $44.00 a night (!) in the basement garage. No need to pay that, the hotel in in a safe residential neighborhood. Just BE SURE to verify (signs are posted) that they are not doing street sweeping the next day. Never seen a street sweeper yet, but if you are parked in one of those zones after 8:00 AM you will get a ticket.

The hotel has a great location. The breakfast menu was very good. Unfortunately upon arrival at the LAX Airport, I had to wait almost 2 hours for the Embassy Suites Shuttle from the airport to the hotel to arrive. I called the hotel 3 times to inquire about the shuttle and was told my the front desk staff that the shuttle runs every hour. There were other Embassy Suites shuttles that came to pick up customers and I soon discovered that the Embassy Suites El Segundo South was the only area hotel that does not offer better services. I noted that the other Embassy Suites Hotel Shuttles came at least twice while I was waiting for the El Segundo shuttle. The shuttle drivers noticed too that I had been waiting at the shuttle area sign and proceeded to inquire whether I needed assistance. I explained that I had been waiting for another Embassy Hotel shuttle. Many other shuttle drivers noted that the El Segundo drivers were not reliable and that they did not provide great services. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the airport. When we finally arrived at the hotel a second shuttle bus was parked in the parking area. In my opinion the hotel needed to provide more than one driver and rotate drivers or join with the other Embassy Hotel drivers staff. I was not pleased with the activities of the hotel especially in the evening. There were no additional things planned at the bar nor a dinner service.

There was mold in the sink, weird substances on the furniture and some boogers picked and sitting on the walls. It was not cleaned well. The condition of the room is not worth the $174 plus $150 deposit and $44 nightly parking. I was disappointed

It was a decent place to stay. It was clean but the hotel itself is dated. The breakfast was mediocre. Communication and customer service were great.
