Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
When I moved the pillows on my bed there was black stuff on the bedding. I called the front desk. After about 2 hours a man came to the door and handed me sheets. I asked him if he wanted to see it. Once he saw it he went and got the manager and housekeeper. They looked at it and took pictures. The housekeeper then began to change the bedding. When she pulled off the sheets there was more on the mattress pad. Once she changed the sheets I had to ask her to change the pillow cases, which seemed a huge inconvenience for her. There was no discount for my inconvenience.
I had to leave at 4:30 am, which is before the free airport shuttle begins. I asked the front desk about a taxi. She gave me the phone number to call. Any hotel I’ve ever stayed at has contacted the taxi service on my behalf. Once I got to the airport the driver asked for the voucher. We were never given, or told about, a voucher. Apparently when a taxi is required because the shuttle is not running the front desk gives you a voucher to pay for the taxi.
I am very unhappy with these situations and the actions of the staff.
