The hotel location was perfect, the hotel itself was great but the staff were an issue. We obviously booked for a two day cisit to universal and checked in late after a day in the park. When we arrived in the room the sofa bed wasnt made up, somwe called reception and they tood us to donit ourselves. There wasnt enough sheets tomdo it and we were made to feel very unwelcome and blamed us! Poor service

When you pay this kind of money for a stay you expect a certain standard or effort and attentiveness from the staff. On the first day of our stay the shower didn’t work and the handle actually broke off. Our flight was delayed and we called the front desk around 12:30am and waited for their technician for over an hour but because we were so tired we called back to cancel. The next morning we went to the front desk and requested our room to be cleaned and our shower to be fixed around 9am. We had a long day but when we arrived after midnight our room was not cleaned and the shower had NOT been fixed. This would now be 2 days of no showering. Called front desk again and held for the supervisor who finally got the technician after almost 40 minutes. The shower was fixed. The next day we came back and the Kleenex wasn’t stocked, there was not enough towels so we had to share because again we are back after midnight, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles they were empty so clearly cleaning service did not check. The following day there was no bath towel so we had to use face towels for the floor and almost slipped because the shower doesn’t keep the water in the bath. No complimentary water was refilled and also for a family of 4 they only give 2 water bottles. On the day before our last day the cleaners left trash in the trash can and used globes on the floor. For their grab and pay food they don’t let you know that there is no condiments and apparently it’s not a

Our family of 3 stayed 3 nights over a weekend. The property looks nice and the young valet that initially greeted us was good. The gentleman who checked us in was quick and efficient. Room looked updated but small. Could have been cleaned a better as we noticed hair from previous guests around the entry area. One of the curtains was broken so it wouldn’t close all the way to block sunlight. The bed was very uncomfortable as was the pillows. My wife and I didn’t get one good nights rest. Then the cherry on top was the noise from the folk next door. You can hear everything like they’re in the same room as we were. On the last night a new guest with a small dog kept us up as he would clear his throat every few minutes and his dog would bark constantly. I reported this to the front desk in person and the lady just said “oh, sorry about that” and that was it. We left.. I thought we’d give Sheraton Universal a try but after this first experience I do not recommend staying here. Had a much better experience at the Hilton just a bit up the hill.

It was a wonderful experience and very convenient. It was very convenient for our whole family to go to Universal Studios and the observatory. There was a shuttle bus right at the door. Moreover, the front desk staff were very friendly and had a particularly good attitude, always willing to help us.
