Bed was too soft. Location is near FWY. Staff unaccommodating. Lobby decorated well. Restaurant and ambiance overall isn’t what it used to be. But it’s pretty much on par with comparable business hotels in area. Westin does have a nice view of old town City Hall from some rooms which offers unique historical feel.

Comfortable Hotel Stay
Westin hotels are 4-class and this one was no different. Rooms are pricey but it was New Years week and Rose Bowl events. Daily housekeeping and towel changes. Wonderful pillows. Clean room and bathroom. Walking distance to restaurants and museums and other sites. The only negative was the hotel did not have a gift shop where you could purchase sundries or snacks/drinks. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Dilapidated Guest Room
My partner and I decided to spend a relaxing couple's vacation in Pasadena, and we chose the Westin, hoping for a pleasant, restful stay. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the condition of the property. First, the room didn’t meet expectations. Several pieces of furniture were clearly damaged, which detracted from the overall experience. While the carpet had been cleaned, there were still noticeable stains, which gave the room a worn, unkempt feel. More concerning was the closet sliding door, which was not properly fastened. When I tried to use it, the door came off its track, injuring me in the process. It was a safety hazard that should have been addressed before guests arrived. While the location is fantastic for walking around Pasadena and exploring the area, if you're looking for a relaxing retreat in a comfortable, well-maintained room, I would recommend reconsidering this property. Unfortunately, it didn’t offer the peaceful getaway we had hoped for.

Lovely stay! The Christmas decorations and lights were particularly lovely and added a nice touch to the lobby. We ended up extending our stay and the staff was helpful and accommodating to making the change seamless! Didn't even have to move rooms. The rooms themselves were very comfortable, clean, heavy duvets and bedding were perfect for the chilly evenings. We didn't use the facilities like the pool or gym, but did check them out and would have totally used them if we came back in warmer weather. It's proximity to old Pasadena was very convenient and the area was lovely!

The property was great, and loved the Holidsy decorations. Really my only complaint was the bed. It was loud as well the center of the mattress is declining. It deserves being checked out first bed in room 1010! Thanks so much!
