Tämä peruskorko on korkeintaan 16 henkilölle! Tämä 15 hehtaarin kiinteistö on uskomaton. Yli 800 metriä yksityistä joen rantaa eikä naapureita ole näkyvissä muualta 15 hehtaarin alueelta! Tämä on 7 makuuhuoneen talo, jossa on 3 olohuonetta, pesukone / kuivaushuone (*** 2 UUDELLA TAKAISIN KÄYTTÄVÄN KONEEN ASENNETTU HELMIKUU 2019 ***), 3 kannet, pelihuone, jossa biljardipöytä ja poreallas. Keittiö, ruokasali, 3 kylpyhuonetta ja pesutupa jävät 15 hehtaarin alueelle 250 metrin päässä yksityisestä joen rannalla sijaitsevasta kiinteistöstä ja 1/3 mailin pituisesta metsäisestä ajotieltä. Suora TV, DSL (nopein internet alueella!) Internet, WIFI. Lodge on räätälöitynä leikattu paikallinen puuraudoitus ja seinäpaneelit, jotka on valmistettu vanhanaikaisen pyörösahanterän sahalaitoksessamme !!! Parketti- ja laattalattiat. Suunniteltu erittäin maalaismaiseksi ja aitoksi, mutta samalla moderniksi (vasta asennetulla keskuslämmityksellä / ilmastoinnilla, joka mahdollistaa mukavuuden ympäri vuoden). Katso video takakannen näkymästä! Kaksi taulu-älytelevisiota (60 'olohuoneessa 1 ja 50' pelihuoneessa ((*** Pelihuone sai juuri uuden uuden 50 "SMART TV: n helmikuussa 2019)) !!!

Pelihuone: jääkaappi, biljardipöytä ja pingispöydät. Paikallisen taiteilijan tekemät mittatilaustyöt, osa taidetta on myytävänä (teos on todella uskomaton tässä talossa!). Ilmainen Yhdysvaltain kansallinen kaukopuhelin lankapuhelimesta. Kaksi mittatilaustyönä valmistettua hiiligrillaa (yhden omistajan rautakaupassa valmistanut! " lähellä ulkona palo kuoppaan kannen ja patio näkymät joelle. Tarjoamme nyt liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet täydentävä, kaikille vieraille riippumatta siitä, kuinka monta sänkyä tarvitaan !!! Lisää tilattuja liinavaatteita / pyyhkeitä, täydentäviä, Just txt Ben the Small Family Company Concierge !!!. Jos varaat 7 yötä, 1 kuorma-auto kuormapuuta toimitetaan ilmaiseksi! Paikalliset polut (Old Habron Gap, google it!) pääset Massanutten Mountainin harjanteelle kävelyllä tai voit ajaa etäisyyden Kapteenin Lodge-joesta koskilla! Jotkut parhaimmista yhden radan vaihtoteknisistä maastopyöräilyistä ovat lähellä. Luray Caverns on vain 17 km: n päässä Kapteenin Lodge -tilasta; useat muut luolat ovat ajomatkan päässä. King-vuode makuuhuoneessa mukautetulla hiljattain remontoidulla kylpyhuoneella. Hintarakenne antaa sinun vuokrata Lodge yksinoikeudella pääsyä vain mitä tarvitset loman.

Kaikissa neljässä makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode, joista toisessa on oma sisäänkäynti kylpyhuoneeseen. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi kerrossänkyä, 3 erillistä vuodetta ja yksi parivuode. Seitsemännessä makuuhuoneessa on sekä yhden hengen että parivuode.

Olohuoneessa # 2 futon-sohva vetää ulos parivuode. Olohuoneessa # 3 futon-sohva vetää ulos myös queen-vuode. Talossa yhteensä 14 vuodetta.
Runsaasti tilaa ilmapatjan asentamista varten 'kaikissa kolmessa olohuoneessa. Kiinteistössä on uusi keskus LVI-järjestelmä. Tämä 15 hehtaarin kiinteistö on uskomaton ilman naapureita

Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta George Washington National Forest. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi kuntosalin, vesipuiston ja porealtaan. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Wonder getaway
Everything was as described. The house is huge and comfortable for 16 people to have their own space. AC worked as it should. It does get colder in the basement but upstairs was cold too. We counted 72 stairs to get down to the river. There are snakes and raccoons so bring a stick with you if youre outside just in case. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly answered by Ben. There is a security deposits to use the pool table. We didnt use the hot tub because we were mostly in the river. Becareful, there alot of slippery rocks.

This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys playing in the river and having BBQ and campfires with the comfort of an amazing house to rest your head (:

Although the home was a little dated, we had a wonderful time together with plenty of space. The main room was large enough for everyone to be in w/o being crowded. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. I would recommend it to other large groups if you are not looking for new and modern.

Just what was needed
It was an amazing property. Secluded and quite just as advertised. The house and furniture are a little dated but for our group it was comfortable, we are not a group of fancy. Plus who cares, get out in nature and out of the house. Pool table and ping pong table were nice. Plenty of room and privacy for all guest. The outdoor setup with the open pedestal grill right next to the fire pit was amazing. We are already planning another trip. The price matched the property, the scenery alone was worth the price. There was no worry of waking neighbors so we could be as aloud as needed. The place was awesome and was just what we needed.

Indifference once we were there
The property itself is exactly as described our issues were with the management. We had asked for early check-in and (in writing) the request was granted. When we arrived there was no access to the property. Fine, I totally understand mistakes, and before long we did get access. But, because cell coverage is poor in the area, I also had someone else call to try and get help. She was told that I had never been given authorization to arrive early. Why do that? No one was mad, there was no reason to try to shift blame. Next, we discovered there were not enough sheets. We called and were told it would be taken care of. Night came, no sheets. The next night comes, no sheets. At 11:00PM, long after we were in bed on the SECOND night, the doorbell rings. It is the owner who now wants to talk about sheets. He specifically states that they did not leave enough sheets. (The reservation was for 19 people and they left enough sheets for 17 as long as every queen sized bed was used by 2. Not our situation.) and that he knew of the problem the night before. Why wake us up, with no sheets in hand, on our last night, to tell us they knew we did not have the sheets we needed? The next day, when I asked about waking us up to argue about sheets, I was given a brand-new tale via text-message. Suddenly the locked gate at arrival no longer seemed like a simple mistake but part of a pattern of indifference. The house was perfect but the management of the property was not what we expected.

The property was spacious and had a great view of the river! Sadly the Jacuzzi wasn’t working and the pool sticks were locked up due to a previous guest’s misdeeds. But our family had a great weekend of cooking out, hiking, rafting and antiquing to suit everyone’s tastes. It was a big success!

Outdated cabin
We had a great time however the VRBO description is not current. The house is very dated, cobwebs in all the corners, water is not easily accessible, the jacuzzi does not work, the air conditioning does not cool the entire house and there aren’t screens in all the windows so we couldn’t even open them to cool the house, the basement bathroom tub has a soft spot that seemed very unsafe.. I think if the house was cleaner and maybe just maintained a little better it would be great.

The place was probably nice at one point. Now it's just old and run-down.
Listing said there are 2 charcoal grills. There was only one, and it was rusted beyond being usable. We ended up having to buy one. House didn't look like it had been cleaned at all. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Jacuzzi didn't work. When we asked the owner, she admitted she knew the jets didn't work. WiFi didn't work. Zero internet access. Owner blamed us, told us "only one device could use the WiFi at a time", but she couldn't connect to the internet either. Owner showed up at the house unannounced and uninvited, and just hung out in the house for around an hour, even though we kept telling her that we didn't need anything from her. Linens for the beds were left in plastic bags on the beds, and half of them didn't fit on the beds. Everything was just old, rickety, warn, and dirty. Then the owner had the nerve to claim half of our security deposit, for ambiguous claims like "excessive wear on the pool table", and "excessive cleaning" when it appeared the house wasn't cleaned before we arrived. All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We had a guys weekend, about 22+ people and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space, the secluded location, the beautiful views, and the other amenities (nice fire pit, pool table, pingpong, hot tub, etc.). The hosts were very kind, attentive, and responsive. Would recommend/return 100%.

Great place to unplug from the world and spend quality time with family. Plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out and play games. (Not a place for you if you want WiFi or internet, but it didn’t matter to us because we just played games and talked) owners helped with some needs when we arrived, very kind. If you plan to cook for large groups, bring big bowls/pots. Close to grocery store and plenty of sights to see. My family and I enjoyed our time together there. Thank you!

Gotcha sister reunion
It is a great location, with lots to do inside and out. The game room provided hours of entertainment. Plenty of private spaces for more intimate conversations. The waterfront was phenomenal. The owners were very responsive with questions and concerns, very friendly and helpful. We had 8 families with 8 teenage girls who found lots of things to do! I would recommend for large groups.

Great getaway for friends and family
The house is very spacious and clean. We had 17 people and there was still enough room for more. The view and sounds of the river provide much serenity. Lots of yard space too for activities. Gail was very helpful and attentive, and we were able to meet as we checked in. Definitely recommend and hope to be back!
