Shenandoah-kartano Blue Ridgen vuoristossa

Kaksi king-vuodetta, kolme queen-vuodetta ja 4 erillistä vuodetta mahtuu mukavasti 14 ja meillä on lisävuodevaatteita (ilmapatjoja) korkeintaan 16. Keittiössä on moderni ruoanlaitto, kaksinkertaiset uunit, jääkaappi, astianpesukone ja kaikki mitä tarvitset suurta ateriaa varten. Jos haluat kokata ulkona, olemme saaneet sinut peittämään kaasugrilli. Haasta toisiamme hevosenkengille tai cornhole-pelille (cornhole on saatavilla kesäkuukausina)! Istu tulisijan ympärille, rentoutuen ja paahtamalla vaahtokarkkeja.

Sateisina päivinä on vielä paljon tekemistä. Pelihuone, jossa on biljardipöytä ja flipball-pöytä, on hauskaa tuntikausia! Ilmainen langaton internet ja satelliitti-tv pitävät yhteyttä. On lankapuhelin, jossa on ilmaiset paikallis- ja kaukopuhelut. Siellä on lautapelejä, jotka kulkevat läpi. Kaikkialla, missä käännyt, tämä talo on mitä etsit!

Kiinteistö on vain muutaman minuutin päässä nähtävyyksistä, kuten Luray Caverns, Cooter's Dukes of Hazzardin museo ja paljon muuta!

HUOM: Talvikuukausina tarvitaan neliveto (4WD) tai neliveto (AWD).

Great Shenandoah getaway!
We reserved this property for an extended family getaway to celebrate a 50th anniversary. It was just what we were hoping for - beautiful views and privacy, with plenty of space for adults, kids, and dogs to enjoy some time away! We'd definitely visit this property again.

Serene mountain getaway
My family and I loved this house and the nature surrounding it! Beds were comfy (including the pull out sofa beds, and I’m a harsh critic). Everything was clean and well stocked, loved the cornhole and horseshoes and all of the outdoor deck space! The pond was a bit of a dud and so buggy that the area around it was pretty much unusable, but that was okay. Wish the grill had worked, but otherwise loved the space, the closeness to Luray and outdoor activities, and the view from the house was stunning. Would recommend!

Magnificent views
Stayed here for my daughter’s commencement weekend. A few family members and friends joined us. Perfect location and wonderful way to celebrate an incredible accomplishment! The ride there is also part of the experience!! Go slow and trust your GPS!

Fantastic Views
We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are unparalleled, and the house was exactly as described. We would stay here again. However, I would recommend that the owners upgrade their linens - the sheets on the King beds were too small, and there were no extra blankets for chilly nights. Our minivan made it up the hill, but we didn't realize that the unpaved road was about 2 miles long, so be warned. Definitely worth it for the views and solitude though!

Nice quick weekend getaway
Great views, close to two grocery stores, and lots of activities to do on the property. You'll definitely want a vehicle with 4-wheel drive to get up to the property - the gravel roadway is a bit tough without it.

Great stay, amazing views!
Property is located in an amazing location overlooking Luray. During our stay, we had a random issue with the microwave tripping a breaker, however, the property manager was incredibly friendly, quick to respond, and brought us a new microwave to use the following day. She also had someone come out and tidy up the hot tub for us. The outdoor activities (horse shoes and corn hole), and incredible view made us not want to leave the property during our stay!

Beautiful Getaway
The view is incredible. We stayed two nights here. Enjoying each other’s company, good food, the fire pit, and horseshoes. The driveway up is steep but manageable. Once you get to the house, it’s worth the drive.

Great house. Great views. Comfortable beds. Clean. Hard to drive to if you don’t have an SUV. Gravel roads about 15 mins to the house off the main roads. Scary to drive if you don’t have an SUV. Other than that, everything was perfect!!

Gorgeous location in the woods
This stay was beautiful and so lovely. The weather was not great but the location and home were so wonderful it didn’t even matter. I will say that while this place advertises as sleeping 14, two of the sleeping options were pullout couches that have seen better days. So I wouldn’t rely on them for the best nights sleep for adults. But the stay was totally worth it and I’d definitely go back!

Pictures do not do the view justice, it’s like being at the top of a ski slope. House itself is solid and has a great wrap around porch. Property Is on a hill so some of the areas hard to access. Great wrap around porch. We went in summer and slope to drive to property was quite steep. 100% need 4wd in winter.

Amazing Stay! This is a beautiful getaway that feels so remote, but isnt!
This was a great stay. It felt so clean and remote, but had amazing internet and connectivity. The air was so clean and the views were amazing. The place had so much light and views across the entire valley.

Cannot beat the view
This mountain house was the perfect weekend away, kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was super clean besides the ladybugs & stink bugs, but that’s understandable being in the woods, we just kept vacuuming them up. The road to the house was dicey in the snow, during winter don’t ignore that note in the listing about requiring a 4wd even if snow isn’t forecasted. The hot tub was great, and the views were just amazing. Excited to come back and see how pretty it is in summer & fall. Great place.
