The young lady who checked us in was excellent! Very informative and kind. We needed bedding for the sofa bed and she supplied that. My only issue is the day they were suppose to service the room all they took was the garbage. We asked house keeping lady in hall she said leave towels in hall and get new ones from front desk. Went down to front desk later in day and she had no towels available until 10:00am Sunday morning. Very inconvenient!

We walked into our room that looked like it had just been used, minus the made beds. There were two dead crickets in the sink, someone’s hair still left in the shower and the floor still had stains and sticky residue. The walls were beyond disgusting along with the floorboards in the bathroom. You could feel the metal springs (or whatever it was) in the bed which made the sleep very uncomfortable. I went to Target and got cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself since all other hotels were booked- trust me at 11pm I tried looking for another place to stay! The hallways were disgusting and dirty, including the piece of trash that was left in the hallway and still there after our fourth day before checking out. Virginia was a beautiful trip but unfortunately our hotel stay was not.

I'm not going back....Due To Staff and Room
Several outlets in the room didn't work. The room smelled like cigarettes every time we walked in the room. Asked the front desk (night shift) for extra pillows and they lied and said they didn't have any. A house keeping staff member went downstairs to where they store them and gave me two extra pillows and I happened to see the storage room...they had an abundant supply of pillows. 😡 Kitchen staff were very friendly and breakfast was good.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. From the front desk personnel, to the breakfast matrons, to the housekeeping personnel. They were all hardworking and appreciative of the opportunity to take care of the guests. They were all very pleasant. Our mattress was not the greatest but other than that, this was a lovely stay.

Bedbugs I have large bites on my body. Housekeeping was very noisy in the hallway gossiping. The room was not its cleanest. Marks on lien, hair in shower, no ironing board, refrigerator not clean.

Found a new and great home away from home!
This La Quinta hotel was amazing. Our king room was very clean, attractive, comfortable, had a great TV, fridg, iron and board, microwave, and hair dryer. The water was hot. Shower pressure was sufficient but would've been better if the energy saver plug was removed. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, the breakfast was great, public areas were beautiful and comfortable. We will be happy to stay here whenever we come to Lynchburg. I wholeheartedly give this lodging a FIVE.
