Labor Day Weekend on the lake
We had an amazing time at this place. Karleen and Jon did a great job welcoming us and the communicating with us before the trip was very helpful. The house is spacious and clean inside with everything that you need. As great as the inside is, the deck is better. It has a great covered area to sit outside and eat, play games or just sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the lake. We all enjoyed the shuffle board table and the other games in the boathouse. Thanks for a great weekend.

We had a great five days in a lovely home. Our host and hostess could not have been more accommodating. The house was decorated for the Fourth and there were wonderful snacks when we arrived. How welcoming! Two showers for seventeen adults was a challenge but we worked it out. Our boys suggested an outdoor shower might be a good addition. Overall, it was a great trip and we hope to return.

Family vibes
A much needed weekend getaway with my family. The place was beautiful and the hosts was so welcoming. They kept us informed about everything. We got rained on and off and we still enjoyed our stay. We fish and hang out on their roomy deck/patio. They also welcome us with cookies, OJ and champagne to make mimosas. Of all the places I've stayed, no hosts ever welcome like Kathleen and Jon.

Thanksgiving on the Lake
Great experience! Anytime we had a question the host answered immediately and were very helpful. We enter the house with a plate of cookies, a dip and a cake waiting for us, along with mimosas for the morning. House was right on the water and we had everything we needed. The bunkhouse was great for the kids. We snuggled up to a fire inside and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit outside. The best was sitting on the porch in the rockers and watching the sunset. Definitely made some good family memories.

47th Family Reunion
This home is beautiful, Kathleen welcomed us with a cake and cookies, smores for the kids (very good). This home provides everything you need. I was a little disappointed in the back yard, not a lot of room to do games such as sack race games for the kids. But for the adults it was great, the porch is beautiful. I recommend this home. I would rent again.

A Great Birthday!
We spent a weekend with friends at the lake to celebrate a birthday. I let Karleen and Jon know, and they had the house set up with decorations and a birthday cake!! The house was as pictured, clean, and well stocked. The back deck was great for hanging out and we loved swimming near the dock. We had a great time!!

Karleen was amazing! Her house is just wow! We were all so happy and pleased with how beautiful everything was. My new family
Karalene and Jon were the best host ever. Easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. I feel like I found my lost family. The house was clean she left lots of treats which were fantastic. I barely got any because they were so good. Need that recipe for the cookies...lol. I highly and I mean highly recommend anyone to stay at their place. We made so many memories. The swimming area was great. The fishing contest was fun. The girls killed it. The one thing I am most excited about was finding my new family that I will have forever. We are already talking about next time we go. Please do not hesitant to stay at Annette Harbor!

Wonderful place and Host was Amazing
This vacation was planned about 1 year in advance and the host was always quick to respond with all the questions I had along the way. We had a large family and needed to ensure sleeping would be adequate so lots of questions about the layout, etc. When we arrived, we were greeted with homemade cookies, homemade jam, a nice chocolate cake, and all the fixings for s'mores. Such a nice treat. The place was beautiful and we loved the fenced in yard so the little ones couldn't go directly into the lake. That was a good safety feature. We have been renting VRBO for over 15 years, and this was probably the cleanest place we have stayed. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our stay. Again the hosts were very understanding. I would highly recommend this property and this host for a big family or group of friends.

Loved everything about this place!
As a family, we rent a lake home every memorial day. We have stayed at many lake houses and this house was the best we've stayed at by far! At just an hour and a half away from Dallas it is far enough from the city to relax but not so far you spend all your vacation time on the road. We had 14 people staying in the house (9 adults, 5 kids, & 2 dogs) and the house felt spacious enough to hold all of us comfortably with room to spare. The house had EVERYTHING you could need (Karleen has thought of everything) and was the best stocked house ive ever stayed in! Did not need to bring anything but ourselves and food. She even baked cookies and candied popcorn for us! SO SWEET OF HER! THE KIDDOS LOVED THE SWEETS! 😋 The house was super cute and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room! The views from the house and patio were beautiful! The yard is gated so it was perfect for the kids and dogs to play without being worried about them getting too close to the water. The dock was great! We were able to fish the whole time and swim as much as our hearts desired. We qill definitely be back! On another note I think Karleen is one of the sweetest people ive never met. 🙂 She was very accomidating, friendly, and very responsive when we had any questions. Do yourself a favor and stay here! You wont regret it!!!

Beautiful Property, Great Hospitality
This was a beautiful place to stay. Although we only had three couples, it would be great for larger groups or families with kids, with beds galore. The host Karleen was very thoughtful, asking if we were celebrating anything in particular, and I told her it was my fiance's birthday. We arrived to birthday decorations (alongside seasonal fall decorations) as well as a birthday card, cake, homemade cookies, a bottle of champagne and orange juice. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, something that can often be lacking in vacation rentals. We had great meals both inside and on the large back porch overlooking the lake. Overall, my only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! But that's our fault. Highly recommend, thanks Karleen!

Family vacation at the lake!
Awesome place on the lake! The house was so clean and the fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. The ski lift made it so convenient to keep our jet skis on property for easy access. The view of the sunsets each evening was beautiful and the fishing off the dock was amazing. Karleen and Jon were great hosts, they thought of everything, we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more. Awesome time spent with the family! Highly recommend.

Great house and great hosts
We had a group of 11, 6 adults and 5 kids ages 3 to 17. The house easily accommodated all of us. It was super clean and the hosts were extremely hospitable. The back porch was incredible and had it not been over 100 degrees everyday we would’ve spent a lot more time there. Their dock is in a deep part of the lake, which is good, because even with the lake being low we were able to use it. This is our third summer on Cedar Creek Lake and this location and house were by far the best.
